  I love her work & the descriptions I have heard, though I have seen very little of it other than photos. does she still perform? I have in mind to do a peice which is inspired by sha sha'a work.

    Yes! She still performs. I think she just recently performed in SF with the Carmen Carne dance troupe. Best to join her mailing list to keep up- www.shashahigby.com I have a few photos from a workshop I took with her last summer in my profile album. I will try to share them here soon!
