<div>This weekend I had the best time in months at Kosmos Camp. Talk about refilling your soul, I've been running on empty for so long. The music, dance, performance, people, environment was incredible. Though it was very hot out, it felt so good to sweat gallons and dance until you can barely stand. <div>Well, guess it isn't bellydance related, but wanted to invite you to my infamous Bean Soup recipe. I just finished a bowl with jalapeno cornbread. Yuhhmm - heaven. With the chill of the weather in the Northern Hemisphere this delicious soup warms "a soul": <br/> <br/>**Blow-It-Out-Yer-Butt Stoo (Stew)** by Shawna <br/>3 cups various beans (rinsed/soaked) I use about 20 varieties - more flavor <br/>bunch of veggies: onion, garlic, green chile, carrot, celery, zucchini <br/>mushrooms, corn, stewed tomatoes - whatever veggies that float your boat...the more the better <br/>veggie stock (add more water if prefer a soup) <br/>salt, pepper, bay leaf, a hint of cumin (so you can BARELY taste it), crushed red pepper <br/> <br/>Pressure cook/simmer (whatever your cookware will tolerate) - til it smells like its done... Ohh, you'll know! <br/>Well that is how I cook anyway. Timers are way too reliable and boring. There is a significant failure to capture the nuance of the magnificent olfactory sense. <br/> <br/>Of course I didn't name it what I call it at home .
