Here are some definitions of Shekinah below......

She·ki·nah Audio pronunciation of "shekinah" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (sh-kn, --, -k-)
n. Judaism

A visible manifestation of the divine presence as described in Jewish theology.

Shekinah (שכינה - alternative transliterations Shechinah, Shekhina, Shechina) is the English spelling of the Hebrew language word that means the glory or radiance of God, or God resting in his house or Tabernacle amongst his people. It is derived from the Hebrew verb 'sakan' - to dwell. (The Greek word 'skene' - dwelling - is thought to be derived from 'shekinah' and 'sakan'.) This noun form is not used in either the Old or New Testaments, but both are full of references to God coming in glory.

The Shekinah is held by many to represent the feminine attributes of the presence of God, based especially on readings of the Talmud and the Cabbalah.

Comparative Religionists note that the shakti is the female energy of Hindu gods.

The nearest Christian concept to the Shekinah is that of the Holy Spirit.
*********************************************************
To me..the Shekinah is the Divine Feminine, the Goddess, the Breath (giving life to the word) the Ruach Ha Kodesh, the life giving holy spirit, the inner knowing/inutition, and the completion of the Divine lost in the patriarchal world.
She is the H in YHVH. and she is the Divine Daughter....known throughout many cultures....
Miriam of Magdala....wife and equal to Yeshua. Radha....the complement to Krishna. Diana, Goddess representing by the moon.....Quan Yin...the feminine face to the divine knowing.........
