I had a fabulous time at Shimmy-a-thon this weekend and really wanted to thank the organizers again for their hard work! :) I can't wait until next year!!!
Oh, and by the way, I am officially retiring from the shimmy competition, so it'll be even more fun to watch everyone else battle it out for the crown!!!! :-D
Oh, and my sweetie thought Mr. Inara's band was awesome... Dolce not so much, but Mr. Miriam was quite impressed.

It is VERY gratifying to Inara, myself and Sara Neece, the CFF Liaison, to hear about our participants' experiences. We did pour a lot of effort into it, and are thankful for the contributions from our Dancers, Sponsors, and Vendors...it was beautiful to witness the efforts of all of us come together for this cause.
We are awaiting the final fundraising numbers, but rest assured, ALL of you can be very proud of yourselves.
I will be posting a SAT08 Event Wrap-Up on the website in the very near future, with all the details. Would love to hear from all of our participants about anything they'd like to share about this year's event!
