I'm asking you to nominate my podcast, Shimmy Cast, for the Cultural/Arts category and the People's Choice category for the Podcast Awards. Nominations close September 30th.
To do this you go to the following website podcastawards.com/ and enter the name of the podcast you are nominating and it's URL in each category you are nominating it for. You will also need to give your name and email address (they don't share, sell, or spam your email address). You leave comments about the podcasts you are nominating; comments are critical so the reviewing team understand why a show is deserving of being nominated to the category.

My vision for Shimmy Cast was to create an informative podcast for fans and dancers of Middle Eastern bellydance. Since starting Shimmy Cast I realize that even though my intent was to create a great resource for others, as a way to pay back the art form that has given me so much, I have learned more about this art form for myself. I would like Shimmy Cast to get nominated because I would like to gain more recognition for our art form and I feel like this will be a great way for more people to learn what bellydance truly is about and not just the negative stereotypes that so often plague us.
