Lennie's original geocities site was taken down by Yahoo a few days ago.

I'm still busily converting translations to my site's design.

* El Helwa Di. Originally released by Sheikh Sayed Darwish, but a more recent version released by Dania is probably better known nowadays. Dania has released two versions suitable for party dancing with friends, one called El Helwa Di, and the other called Cou Cou with a techno beat and rooster crowing.
* Gamil Gamal. Sung by Farid al-Atrache.
* Ghanili Shwaya Shwaya. Sung by Oum Kalthoum.
* Habitak Bel Saif. Sung by Fairuz.
* Lamma Bada Yata Thanna. This song is 1,000 years old.
* Linda, Linda. Composed and sung by Samir al-Tawil. His daughter is a dancer, and lives on the East Coast. She has been very active on tribe.net - if you've used tribe a lot, you may know her from there!
* Samra Ya Samra. Sung by Karim Mahmoud.
