Shiva Vista Project Returns to the Playa for 2008!!!
Let us burn again!!! We welcome you Home to _our_ Dream of “getting people’ togather’!”

The Shiva Vista Project is reincarnated for your continued enjoyment and ACTIVE participation this year at Burningman 2008! An art installation *BY* fire performers *4* fire performers, with that expansive 24x24 foot performance level raised four feet above the ground...we will be EMBRACED in fire!!!! For additional dimensions of interaction, there are the four ramps descending from each side.
Beautiful, industrial Fire Talon sculptures, each 14 feet tall, unexpectedly belch forth their AWESOME fire and heat 35 feet in to the air ...good for those chilly evenings in that skimpy fire gear you wear!!! Circling the platform of Shiva will ‘dance’ her 12 fire canon “Apostles.” And of course, weaving in, around, and thru the spirit of Shiva will be music, sweet music for us to celebrate with.
Interactive opportunities include: participating on the platform, provide fire safety for the fire performers, participant control of the fire effects sequences, fashions shows, presentations/productions, drum/music circles, nuptials/ceremonies, sunrise/sunset vistas, teaching/learning opportunities via movement/tool workshops, yoga, dance, martial arts, you name!!
If you didn’t come and play with us in 2007, we hope you will come out and see us THIS year, and be a part of the fire family we create! We ARE the moths to the flame!
