I subscribed to Orkut and find it weird. Not very satisfying, mostly in Portuguese and some of the people that want to by friends can get nasty or try to promote their own products or communicate in a language that I don't understand. I don't get the postings either - not really discussions. So, either this is the way it is, or I haven't learned how to use the site to interact with people. I hardly find the site wild and uninhibited. It sates that naked pictures are forbidden and some are posted as representing the profile but are obvious porn pictures downloaded from elsewhere.
