Well, it's finally happening. I've been gray at my chin for the past year: and it's getting bigger. I've also been turning a bit gray on the chest, both of these things are cool and I consider them the same as wearing a shirt; however, I'm starting to gray..... Down Thar.... That's putting a whole new spin on the whole thing!
I can't stop it, and I'm not inclined to tint anything there.... so, I guess I'll have to get used to it!

With a little Photoshop magic, I've created a new line of men's products for us silverdaddies.
(But honestly, I'd never use it myself either)

    WOOF, Martin.

Thats a Riot Watchdog Great Use of Photoshop...Very creative!
But....In Reality,if a Man used Clairol hair color "down THERE" it would BURN like HELL!(It's Peroxide-Based!)....EEEYOWWW!
In my "early Days Of Grey(late 20's-mid 30's) I used "Just For Men",but that shit doesn't last worth a damn! I'd be "showing roots" in my full beard within 6 days of coloring it! and FORGET doing the chest pelt and pubes!
I think the question is...how do we ACCEPT our grey..rather than be vain, and try in desperation to cover it up?

The picture IS funny, and puts the issue in perspective! I intend to ignore it, until I get used to it.

I think it's hot. I'm on 38 but have been getting more gay, uh, gray for 2 or 3 years now. It's all in my hair & bear now. Havent noticed any below the belt yet though. A 22 year old recently told me "You have gray in your beard dude. Youre getting old." I said "And you are growing younger? Piss off you little bitch!" lol

My pleasure, guys. (the PhotoShopped dye box).

I must admit to streaking a little dark blond into my beard and mustache so that it matches my un-dyed graying head hair. I'd never want to hide all the gray in the stache and beard. I just want it to match. But down below? Not a chance. More trouble than it's worth. Besides if a hot guy has gray hair, he's still a hot guy. I'm grateful that my taste for men ages along with me.

You'll probably see me repeat this because it's my fave little come-back when a twink in a chat room asks how old I am. I say "Old enough to spank you for asking and young enough that you'd probably like it." But then I give them my age. Sometimes they disappear but more often than I can believe, they hang around for more chat. One twenty-something even said he thought I was cool for that attitude.

Martin if you are turning gray even down there, that makes you more sexier. Being gray isnt a bad thing, alot of gray haired men are sexy to me. I was glad to go grey, if not down there yet, and I hate that stupid commerical, where the guy with gray in his beard didnt get the girl, so he had to get Just For Men. I say forget you BITCH, I will take the gray bearded man over you. So be happy with the gray or grey, Michael.

I just spent two months as a contract designer for a magazine here in Atlanta, that is all about women's cosmetics, plastic surgery, and making yourself look as close to a plastic-smooth-skinned Barbie Doll as possible. The dishonest, heavy retouching of otherwise beautiful woman to make them look inhumanly "beautiful" would keep me from ever taking a full-time job at a place like that. UGH. Making people unhappy with themselves to sell a product is actually the reason I chunked my advertising degree and went for graphic design four years later (after the Navy when Uncle Sam could pay for it.) This magazine job was the first time I've actually worked at a place that was so superficially focused. As a result, I even quit that little mustache and beard touch up that I mentioned previously. I found the whole thing obnoxious. Sure we all have varying degrees of vanity, but I'd seen it at its extreme and it turned me off. Here's a link that turned me ON. It's for women, but the attitude is healthy and correct for us all:
      www.campaignforrealbeauty.com

I think Bette Midler sang it best: "I'm beautiful! I'm beautiful! I'm beautiful, DAMN IT!"

          Simply put:
Grey in a Man's Beard or hair seperates "The MEN from the Bois"!
          Gimme a MAN over a little Boi....Anyday!
The Twinks might think they have a "Perfect body" so they have IT ALL when in reality they havent even "lived yet".
The grey in our hair and beards shows we have Matured into MEN and have lived a lifetime to tell about it.
