i just came across a local paper today which recounted the experiences of a busload of people on a particular night.

while the bus was traveling it passed four ladies who also got on the bus and rode with them. while the bus continued its journey the environment outside began to transform. from being an old road filled with trees and fields, it began forming into a bright, city-like place. the curious part of this story was that none of the passengers wondered what place this was, not even the driver and his helper.

upon reaching a street with rows of nice restaurants, the bus stopped and the four ladies got out to eat. the driver and his helper went out too while the rest of the passengers just slept inside the bus (it was already about 10:00pm.). a few minutes later the driver and the helper got inside. they waited for the four ladies. after a long while they decided to leave them as they have been waiting for almost an hour. it was then that they realized they were no loner in the bright city-like landscape but in the middle of a field of thick grass. the bus was stuck. when morning came, they found out that they were in the top of hill!

nobody recalled going up a hill, there was no rain that night but there also were no tracks leading up, or down, the hill. so they were all left wondering, the drivers especially who kept thinking about what they ate.

this also reminded mo of another news item i heard on the radio when i was still in elementary school. a group of chinese fishermen reported seeing a distant island near the south china sea where they would see a very advanced civilization. they reported seeing a truly all-terrain vehicle - land, sea (submersible), and air! they all described it in the same manner, with very consistent details, even the streets and buildings. according to the news it was not the first time they saw it. they never got near it though because when they got about a kilometer from it it just disappeared. it reappears when they move away. but it does disappear completely when the sun starts to shine. there were a lot of theories that explained how it happened, one was that it was just a mirage reflected off the surface of the sea. but even if it was just a mirage then the source image would have come from somewhere right? so, ever seen a city here on earth with vehicles that can fly on air, cruise inland and go underwater ten years ago?

don't know how many out there read The Keys of Enoch..I recently read a passage that seems to shed light on the crop circle phenomenon and indicate that they are indeed a tool for transformation. From 'The Keys"..."The soul vehicle begins to experience the manifestations of Light projections and geometries which appear as singular manifestations of Light before they are converted into...a series of picturegrams. These ideographs and pictographs of otherworld geometries fuse color and mathematical indexes which respatializes the consciousness of man to participate in multiple time cells of information." My take on 2012...for what it's worth

Back in 3113 BC the Mayans created their own calander which is to end in 2012 which is around 5000 years later...

Back in the day when Adam and Eve were cast out of Garden of Eden, God said it would be for 5 days. 5 days pass and Adam says, hey God, ok we'll be good, can we come back like you said we could? God says, not yet, in the Garden of Eden time is different, a day in the garden is likened unto a thousand years outside the garden walls. so you still have 5000 years to exist outside the garden gates less 5 days.

Now here we, 2008, nearly 5000 years after the lesson of Adam and Eve, which indeed is the first lesson of karma in any written hostiry we are aware of at this time....well, soon it will be time that Adam and Eve will be returned to garden and I can only imagine they are heartily awaiting that moment in what I can only surmise is 2012. If by this info I can trust....that would make them both well over a hundred years old by garden years back then, tag onto that 5000 years and well, you get the picture, they would be the oldest living people IF they are still alive somewhere.

BUT...I think that the old testament is history as we knew it in the first creation of earth...according to some cultures, we are in our 4th creation...so the first three are recorded in the old testament. That means the new testament of the bible is of our current creation. THis could explain why God had to create so many Eve's for Adam, the first being Lilith...who wanted to run things. Adam went and tattled on her to God, lol, and God said ok, you can go over to the other part of the world and raise children. Some say they are demons but it was the catholic church that demonized her just for wanting to be on top. Lol! Lilith was created using Adams tail...which is why our current Eve was created using Adams rib and it was she who God commanded to be subordinate to Adam, not all women, but this current Eve. Another Eve was created right in front of Adam, it so grossed him out he could not bare to look at her...or touch her so he asked God to take her away, which God did.

Even today the sons of Adam and Lilith can be found, they are the children who are born with a tail.

I will give 300 dollars to the first physics department that simply repeats my experiment and verify safe nuclear fusion- I would give more-but i am a lonely garage inventor who has sacrificed my entire life to find answers and ran completely broke doing it- upon a successful experiment last year in which concludes the following statement- I HAVE SOLVED THE ENERGY CRISIS. i quickly placed the video of such experiment and ALL information for a world to repeat freely on the net.

I dont know anyone- so i come on myspace-facebook-energy blogs- a hundred places- and no one believes me- but i dont care if you do- just replicate my experiment and see yourself-

one catch- my experiment is very dangerous- i hand built a one million volt tesla coil to prove my 5 year ideology- thus- no one has the guts so far- but more important than that- no one in any of these forums passes the information along in order to be true- why- i guess no immediate reward for you- however- watching television lately- you should understand energy is the key to many things-

THUS, i will scrap together 300 dollars and give it to a physics department that takes a tesla coil and run the secondary upon the dielectric of heavy water to verify i have concluded the most simplest form of clean energy production ever to the civilization of mankind-

The drug makers have been out right lying about the efficacy of antidepressants.They have been caught red handed.

For the majority of people, the drugs are no better then snake oil.

If the only problem was that, the drug is a placebo for the vast majority people who have been given it, I would not care.

But it is far from the only problem!

The Physicians' Desk Reference lists the following adverse reactions (side effects) to antidepressants among a host of other physical and neuropsychiatric effects: manic reaction (mania, e.g. kleptomania, pyromania, dipsomania), emotional lability (or instability), abnormal thinking, alcohol abuse, hallucinations, hostility, lack of emotion, paranoid reaction, amnesia, confusion, agitation, delirum, delusions, hysteria, psychosis, sleep disorders, abnormal dreams, and discontinuation (withdrawal) syndrome. Adverse reactions are especially likely when starting or discontinuing the drug, increasing or lowering the dose or when switching from one SSRI to another SSRI. Adverse reactions are often diagnosed as bipolar disorder when the symptoms could be entirely iatrogenic (treatment induced). Withdrawal, especially abrupt withdrawal, from any of these medications can also cause severe neuropsychiatric and physical symptoms. It is important to withdraw extremely slowly from these drugs, usually over a period of a year or more, under the supervision of a qualified and experienced specialist.

In addition to the adverse reactions listed in the Physicians' Desk Reference, the FDA published a Public Health Advisory on March 22, 2004 which states (in part): "Anxiety, agitation, panic attacks, insomnia, irritability, hostility, impulsivity, akathisia (severe restlessness), hypomania, and mania have been reported in adult and pediatric patients being treated with antidepressants for major depressive disorder as well as for other indications, both psychiatric and nonpsychiatric."

The vast majority of school and other recent massacres have involved people going on or coming off these drugs.

Many otherwise loving parents have killed their own children wile going on or coming off these drugs.

I love trees and nature and especially the beach and waterfalls. Coming up to live here at Bli Bli on the Sunshine Coast of Australia has been a breathtaking experience in nature absorption. One evening, having sighted a grove of trees in a tourist info map, my partner and I decided to go take a peek.

Lovely large trees, can't remember what they were... but truly huge and in a photo, the people in it looked liked specks beneath them.

Anyway, something in the photo I took caught my eye. It was only on my mobile phone camera so was a bit grainy when I started to zoom in on it. However, the thing that I was zooming into soon turned out to look like a three sphered something or other in between the branches, but even more shocking to me was that I actually saw faces (at least 8) that were either formed by the intertwining leaves and light or whatever was there.

I have to get one of those transfer cables to get the photo on here but I shall do that ASAP so some of you can tell me if my imagination has run riot or not.

I showed my partner and our skin just crawled coz he could see it too. MY sister who is very psychically gifted immediately saw the faces in the photo too when I showed her some weeks later. I took her up to the grove of trees and it was like she was in la-la land, she said she loved the energy of the place, but was suddenly mysteriously spooked when she turned to look at one tree. I heard her intake of breath and looked to where she was looking and saw exactly the same thing, a tree 'stump' that looked like a child was peeking out from behind the tree. The hairs on my neck stood on end I tell you. But we had a good laugh about it. Maybe our imaginations are the same, or are they?

I have read in mythology about dryads, does anyone feel they actually exist?

Visions of grandeur-

So now I see another hot spot in the world erupt- between Serbia and Kosovo- between Muslims and Christians-

Some say America was enticed by way of incentive to invade Iraq for oil/energy- however, most enlightened minds know it is for the security of Israel- for how can one single Arab country be strong with a Jewish neighbor- America is a good friend to the Jewish people

And the Christian controlled Americans find themselves at a never ending war with fundamental Islam

Islam-Christian - Jewish- whatever - what on this gods green earth can forge peace between these forces of god-

According to all of them- it is a messenger of god- a messiah-

So here I come in- I believe I am the messiah

I have heard many definitions of a messiah from everyone’s opinion- these are some of the reasons why I believe I am the chosen one-
1. my first name Solomon means peace
2. my last name azar is the father of Abraham in the bible-it is also the name of fire in the first recorded reliogen of the planet- zorasterian in which moses of the jews was believed to be of- if no the entire start of the jewish ideals
3. I was born Christian into an Arabic family- I have not only learned the ways of prejudism between arab Christians and arab muslims- but all kinds of racist remarks since a child growing up in america without any physical major feature to an arab race most human beings try to judge another by- thus I blended in- a black man in a white skin suit will hear many disturbing things- but so will any group of people anywhere if they listen to the “other side”
4. it is evident by my physical features- I possess dna traits from all parts of the world- what is in you
5. they say 10 percent have seen a ufo- 60 percent believe in advanced entities of the universe- I gave openly upon the net my observation of a ufo in 1987- I not only seen it- it communicated with me- I did not see any funny looking aliens- only in the movies- I seen no spaceship- but a major exhibition of light/energy-power- I believe god controls all things
6. I hear many human beings say we are all messengers of god- what was your message- mine was to stand as messiah and it started in 1998-
7. no one likes to be told of god-it is our duty to figure it out- look how you treat religious persons coming to your door- or airports- don’t tell me what to believe is the common theme- it is understandable- it is our test of faith as human upon the magical blue planet-thus it is evident a messenger must bring a gift or miracle in order to have a very arragont and strong character to resist of species-man- to listen- I believe with full conviction I have solved our energy crisis- to not walk on water- but to deliver it for unlimited energy
8. 2 hasidic jews from absolutely nowhere happen to view the very first time I conducted my experiment by looking into my door at that moment- my life is filled with many funny coincidences which paint a picture- I have given many upon the net- there are many more- - who can possibly walk in your own shoes if you yourself tried to describe your observations

There is more- so much more-but who really with sound mind and body actually stand for such a title- I find it interesting to search upon the net- a wonderful invention of recent times- and I find I am the only one out of millions upon the net that will repeatedly make this statement- I back it up with writings and videos of my character- if you ask me- I would love to have an open democratic debate as we do in politics and have a messiah elected- for surely- only the true messiah would stand for such a position and endure the hardship of running for such position- this is my intention if the public ever comes together put a stop to such statements- I am not an alien or some god- but there is no question in my biased opinion I have been guided/used by the heavens over my entire life and if a society believes in a god- why not be inside me as the holy spirit in order to do their deeds- how long can you ignore a human being with such conviction-

Visions of grandeur to help my fellowman- or am I the messiah on a mission by the heavens- I have said this since day one upon the net- when my words of science bring clean energy for all of us- let it be known it has been done by a messenger of god-time will tell

personal encounters of the spooky kind

have you ever had any paranormal/supernatural experiences that goes into the spooky category? here's mine, happened last night:

i work for my aunt who is the school president, as a secretary/IT manager in a school for caregivers and domestic workers. when she works she does not like to be disturbed so that means that she finishes all the drafts first before i start to work on them (encoding, layouting etc). this resulted in me working nights at the school doubling up as guard. last night i had finished encoding a book she was working on and decided to print a draft for a final editing. as per office protocol, we always use the dot matrix printer (the noisy and slow one) for temporary copies. the document is 600 plus pages long with a printing rate of about 3 pages per minute.

so to pass the time i decided to sit on the office sofa and play the guitar awhile. i was playing it for about two minutes when i felt as though something brushed on my left leg. i was wearing jeans so to feel something brush up my left leg amounts to the object brushing me as having enough pressure as to be felt. then the left half of my body had goosebumps and i felt a bit tingly, but only in the left part of my body, on the right everything was okay.

it was then that i turned my head left and **shivers** tried to see what brushed up the side of my leg. there was nothing, i was going to let it go when (i wasn't dreaming i swear) the part of the sofa, about 6 inches from where i was sitting began to compress as though someone was on the act of sitting beside me. the compressing area appeared like what it would look like if someone was actually sitting in there, complete with shadows and folds. i turned my head and faced straight ahead. funny thing is i wasn't afraid. i remember thinking to myself "is this it?". then the left part of my body had the tingly sensations again and goosebumps showed up again, longer this time. i managed to say "don't you do anything to me or you'll regret it". though i didn't know exactly how "it" would regret it.

about 30 seconds after i said that, the goosebumps were gone i felt normal again and the compressed portion of the sofa was gone. although coworkers here tell stories of apparitions and presences, i haven't had any experience until now (its been a year since i've been here) although i frequently dream of people watching me when i sleep here in the office. this is the first encounter i've had ever since i was a kid, back then it was like every night and i never felt afraid even then.

so, anyone there who has some story to tell or maybe some explanation to this? debunkers are welcome too.....

Prayer works even when you pray to deities outside of the norm.

It's actually possible to do experimental prayer. Theorize a deity -- even potentially one that you actually believe could not possibly exist -- and pray.

Psychic attack...

imaginary playmates?

do you have one? did you have one?

do you have other explanations for it? here where i am there can easily be a lot of explanation for it but mostly it takes on the form of the "engkantos" (plural), its about someone befriending a supernatural/paranormal entity especially kids. if an adult person is said to have encounters with these imaginary playmates/suitors, they'd eventually be possessed.

before i started going to school, i had one. but it was not a "person", it was a hand. sort of like the adams family, the thing! it was a right hand whose size varied from time to time. i only saw it at night, and only when everybody else was asleep. i think it started when one day my father came home and positioned himself on the hammock. there was blood in his hands and shirt. i asked him where the blood came from and he answered that i was from a naughty kid who did not follow what his parents said. he even showed me a piece of a supposed skin.

he was lying of course, i found out eventually that the "skin" was the crown of a rooster, one they removed. but i think that was when it started because a few nights after that while asleep beside my mother i woke up deep in the night to find that our mosquito net was surrounded by hands, they seemed to be dancing. i touched one and played with it, maybe this one became my playmate because after that only one hand came to me at nights. i know that i wasn't dreaming because the details i saw where perfectly clear and consistent. besides i always remember my dreams ;o)

thought transference

When I was a ripe 22, I had a psychotic break, during the episode a state trooper was delivering me to a mental institution. Twice on the drive my manic-psychotic mind became completely relaxed, thoughtless, it was as if my mind and my being completely and evenly dissolved throughout the universe, I was truly not there or anywhere for a brief moment. Both times this happened the state trooper swerved off the road...the second time he stopped to get me some smokes which he had refused to do prior, I felt as if he felt what I felt and realized what I was experiencing was real and after relating to it twice, decided to be kind....after much therapy and medicines disturbing realities from the experience remain. Others I have talked to about psychosis have had different but similar experiences. I would like to hear more.

hello all.........i'm new to this tribe and just wanted to introduce myself by relating an experience i had a few weeks ago......a friend and myself travelled up to the blue ridge parkway one afternoon to enjoy the beauty of the autumn foliage....along the way i found a lookout where you could view brown mountain...and if lucky, the brown mountain lights.........i've been fortunate enough to see the lights on several other occasions from different locales, but on this particular evening, it was too cloudy and hazy and we did'nt see them...

however, while i was standing out there looking toward the forest, an owl came swooping out of the trees..........this thrilled me because i love owls...they are one of my totem animals and it's such a rare gift to see one out in the wild like that..........

meanwhile though, i hear my friend yell from the other side of the vehicle, 'did you see that?' at first i thought he was talking about the owl, but instead he was pointing toward the clouds in the other direction where he swore he saw what appeared to be a ufo...he only saw it for a few seconds before he said it went behind the clouds.........just for the hell of it, i took a photo of the area he said it disappeared.....when the photo emerged i sort of freaked because, to me, there seemed to be an image of the face of one of the familiar 'grey' aliens.....*i'm not the sort who 'looks' for things in images, but this just immediately popped out at me.....kinda weird, huh?

sightings of giants

no, not the bigfoot although they'd also do. i mean giants, tall, upright, men in every proportion, but really tall. i may be an indirect supporter of the ancient giant race theory not because i read it from books but because there are accounts near where i live of giants living among them during the spanish occupation of the philippines until about the early 1900's.

in eastern samar, there sits the oldest church in the region more than a hundred years. according to the old folks, one of the people who helped build it, was a giant, the last of their kind in the area. according to the accounts, the height of the door is the height of the giant. i saw it, and its about 8 and a half feet to 9 feet high. according to the stories, there was a family of giants that lived in the island across guiuan eastern samar, an island called sulu-an. the last giant, a male lived there too. it was supposedly his plan to build a stone bridge from the island to the town. according to people who live in suslu-an there is an unfinished stone bridge in there. incidentally there is a cave in there that people treat with high respect because the remains of the giants are there. most of my family members, my grandparents, my father, and my granny's sister have been there and they all say the same thing, in the cave are bones of really tall men with femurs or tibias almost a meter long, according to my grandpa one measured as long as the measurement from his fingertips to his shoulder blade.

cameras don't work in there (energy field?), and there are various utensils in there reminiscent of spanish era, if not older. the people sometimes use them, borrow them they say, especially during fiestas but they always remember to return it because according to them the weather goes crazy when they forget to do so. also, care is taken when inside the cave, not to joke about anything in there or make any unnecessary remarks because it is sure to make the tides go crazy (its a small island, where three strong currents meet, one is from the pacific ocean). since the sea is their only means of access to the nearest town, they observe "proper decorum" ;o)

talismans bestowed by the beasts

ever heard of these accounts? they seem to be present everywhere that i think there is a certain ring of truth to it.

just recently a local television station here featured a story of local fisherman who had a fort of hut in the sea, i don't what these huts are called but they have them there, a sort of docking station for them. anyways, one time he saw a sea snake, the poisonous type, caught in one of the posts and the nets and he was sure it would've died if he didn't free it. he did not know exactly why he freed it but he did. he was not bitten by the snake though he handled it with his hands.

from then on that snake came to his hut everytime he was there until such time that the snake brought its friends in there and decided to take residence in the hut. at the time of the tv feature the camera showed about 50 of those snake in the hut. the fisherman handled them by hand and placed them in the corner so as not to scare the reporter and the cameraman. it was in this hut he said that the sankes gave him a talisman, maybe for their gratitude. according to him he decided to spend the night in the hut, with the snakes, so that he'd be off earlier to sea. when he woke up, beside him was an egg shaped stone that glowed with a bluish light from the inside. according to him it gave him some power to heal and purify water.

he had to sell the talisman though, when his daughter got ill. a local politician bought it and was gracious enough to show the press the said talisman. it really glowed blue even in the dark, was well polished too, no cracks can be seen on its surface.

what do you think? any explanation for this? as always, sharing of same stories is encouraged ;o)

the gray fuzzy?

i see in the personal encounter piece somebody else mentioned the big weight on your chest when you sleep and not being able to move. i know several people that have experienced this. i call it the 'gray fuzzy', cause when people open their eyes they see a big grayish blurry foggy roundness over them. weighing them down. their eyes are open, they want to scream, move, alert somebody, but no. they just have a heavy weight on their chest. they are almost always panicked, but can't move.
and then it's gone.
until the next time.
my cousin tried to move from state to state trying to escape it, but it always found him.
most of my relatives either have experienced, or know of somebody that has.
we are all native american.
we know it's not a good spirit, but other than the initial scare, nothing seems to come of it.
EXCEPT it does start making us pray a little more and get more spiritual and thanksgiving to the creator!!

Being outside of yourself

It's not like looking down at myself or anything, but like I'm a thousand times more aware of myself, my thoughts and sensations, and my surroundings. It goes away not long after it starts, so I've never had any extended periods of it. Any ideas?

I've been into the world of the weird and unusual since I was a kid. And I've had my share of odd experiences, that's for sure. One of the strangest was a series of Ouija sessions that ended up as communication with ETs from a future time. Long story and totally true. You can read about it in a 7-part article at www.paranormalreport.com. The final installment of the article was last week so you'll probably have to click on the article archives to find it. The article is called "Ouija Calling ET: Do you copy?"

Also, back in '97 I think it was, I saw one of those black triangle ufos. You know, those huge things that have been reported around the world since the mid-80s? It was directly over head, less than 500 feet above me. I estimated the size to be about the size of a football field. It cruised really slowly across the sky, probably not more than about 5 miles per hour and it was totally silent. It had one big red light at each corner of the triangle, located on the underside of the craft. The lights didn't blink. I had a good amount of time to observe it because it was moving so slowly. It was such a stunning and memorable experience that I decided to incorporate it into the storyline of The Ezekiel Code. It turned out to be perfect for the story. If you read the book you'll understand why. Oh, there I go again. Plugging my book! LOL

Ectoplasm removal

Is there any way to get ectoplasm residue off of painted walls? We have several areas in our house that I have scrubbed with cleaners and abrasive sponges, and it just won't come off. I've gotten the weird tacky feel out, but the prints or trails are still there. I'd post a picture, but I'm not sure how to. I put one up in "my pics".

dream rituals....

i don't know what to call it ;o)

i had a sort of ritual before i sleep when i was young, when i still wasn't going to school. before i went to sleep i'd close my eyes and focus on that little colored dots that moves around when you close your eyes or when its dark. i would imagine them as fruits in a fruit stand. after a certain amount of time, when i was so focused on the colored dots and my body gradually relaxed the little colored dots would take the form of real fruits.

after another period of time the scene would then fade and i'd always be standing on a river that forks ahead of me. before the river forks, there is a man standing on in front of me who sort of looks like he's wearing a hawaiian skirt. on each of his arms are many large steel like bracelets. behind him was nipa hut, a traditional house here in the philippines. in both sides of the river, including where it forks, i could see that it was thickly covered with plants of the palm variety commonly seen growing near rivers. i'd then approach the man and he'd always ask me the same question - where do you want to go?

i would then select the left of the right fork and then he'd give me one of those steel like bracelets. from then on the dream would start. it was always like this every night the same scenes before the dream. and i would wake up early in the morning, about 4 or 5 am after the dream ended. this "ritual" only ended when i started to go to school. i miss it sometimes and even tried hard to get the same results but it never happened again. an interesting point is that i never had bad dreams at that time, i only started having bad dream from time to time when i went to school and the "man" disappeared.

so... any of you have/had the same or some other form of ritual before your dream starts? maybe we can find an explanation. ;o)

The Truth: My Girlfriend once showed me an intresting thing.. She took som playing cards and told me which card that was on top before watching it.. she is relly good at that.. She suceeds with 9/10 tries..

If she only guess on a card the chance to get right would be 1 of 52 right? And a lot of times she could tell me exactly what i was thinking.. Someone else who have had these experiences? Is this the right place to talk about?

Grave Rubbing.

What grave rubbing is, for those of you who do not know, is when one goes to a graveyard, takes paper and charcol or a crayon, and rubs the name, dates, and/or words on the grave onto the sheet of paper. When I was a small child my father would do his best to prepare my sister, Ashley, and I for our schooling. Well, he would take us grave rubbing, then we would go look the person up and learn about their life and how they died.. and so on. It is how he taught us to do research.
Anyway, one day when we were out grave rubbing I went up to this one grave and started to rub the name on my sheet of paper. As I began to rub I saw my sister's first name appear... then her middle name... and then the first 4 letters of our last name and then the rest was scratched out. Like claw marks scratched out. As I saw this I started to sink into the grave. Needless to say I ran for my father and wanted to poke my sister with a large stick. My father went over to the grave, looked at it, and looked at my sister. The dates on the grave were even the same as my sister's birthday. The only difference is that the day the lady, hopefully, in the grave died was the day my sister was born.
I also looked at the fact of it just being someone else... but my family had a.. very unusual last name and we KNOW everyone who has my last name. This woman, when we looked her up, had no history what so ever. We couldn't find a single thing on her.

To this day.. it creeps me out.

ever had an episode of "unexplained energy" happen to you?

i have this thing i can't explain, some sort of energy i can generate from my arms from the fingers of my hands, running up to the shoulders crossing straight to the other shoulder then to the other tips of my fingers of the other hand. it does not radiate or extend or influence anything other than certain parts of my body especially my hands and arms. at first, about 7 years ago i tried raising my hands by just thinking about it. i was inspired by a game we used to play back in the elementary days where we would have our hands moving in a certain direction for a time and then when we stop, the arms would just raise by itself.

7 years ago i was able to do it by myself but i was always afraid of it 'coz people from our place always said that people being possessed by demons exhibit this same characteristic just before being possessed. it did not keep me from trying every once in a while though. years ago i could have my arms raised at shoulder level without tensing a muscle but that was just it, it will not happen if my arms are not completely relaxed. if i help the movement in any way except by thinking my arms would drop back down to the sides or i'd feel my arms getting heavier and i would be using my muscles to support it then. i'd feel a certain energy flowing through my arms, wrapping itself on my hands and forearms and that was it.

lately, from years of research, i became bold enough to just let it happen on its own without consciously trying to influence its flow. i was amazed at what this "energy" can do. before i could only raise it up to shoulder level from the sides and from the front and always at the same time but now as i let it flow by itself it directed my arms in many ways. now it can raise my arms to shoulder level and pull it back to its maximum point. this can happen for either left or right arm or both. it can also raise my arm higher sometimes overhead (straight) with the finger touching. it can also raise just one arm. all i do is think of raising my arms and when i feel this energy on my forearms i let it "take me away".

also, if i "tune in" to this energy and on which points it has more concentration, i'd get the feeling that it wants me to bend on certain points in my joints and if i do it, it moves my arms in different other ways. up to now i can feel it coursing through my spine, sometimes pushing me forward or pulling me backward. i can do this sitting or standing up. i sometimes feel great concentration of energy in my chest when it raises my arms.

the positions of my arms when it "pauses" are the positions where you can raise your arms for a long time without straining.

what is this energy? answers will be greatly appreciated.

The Antikythera Mechanism

A perplexing artifact was recovered by sponge-divers from a shipwreck in 1900 off the coast of Antikythera, a small island that lies northwest of Crete. The divers brought up from the wreck a great many marble and and bronze statues that had apparently been the ship's cargo. Among the findings was a hunk of corroded bronze that contained some kind of mechanism composed of many gears and wheels. Writing on the case indicated that it was made in 80 B.C., and many experts at first thought it was an astrolabe, an astronomer's tool. An x-ray of the mechanism, however, revealed it to be far more complex, containing a sophisticated system of differential gears. Gearing of this complexity was not known to exist until 1575! It is still unknown who constructed this amazing instrument 2,000 years ago or how the technology was lost.

The Coso Artifact

While mineral hunting in the mountains of California near Olancha during the winter of 1961, Wallace Lane, Virginia Maxey and Mike Mikesell found a rock, among many others, that they thought was a geode - a good addition for their gem shop. Upon cutting it open, however, Mikesell found an object inside that seemed to be made of white porcelain. In the center was a shaft of shiny metal. Experts estimated that it should have taken about 500,000 years for this fossil-encrusted nodule to form, yet the object inside was obviously of sophisticated human manufacture. Further investigation revealed that the porcelain was surround by a hexagonal casing, and an x-ray revealed a tiny spring at one end. Some who have examined the evidence say it looks very much like a modern-day spark plug. How did it get inside a 500,000-year-old rock?

The Grooved Spheres

Over the last few decades, miners in South Africa have been digging up mysterious metal spheres. Origin unknown, these spheres measure approximately an inch or so in diameter, and some are etched with three parallel grooves running around the equator. Two types of spheres have been found: one is composed of a solid bluish metal with flecks of white; the other is hollowed out and filled with a spongy white substance. The kicker is that the rock in which they where found is Precambrian - and dated to 2.8 billion years old! Who made them and for what purpose is unknown.

The Dropa Stones

In 1938, an archeological expedition led by Dr. Chi Pu Tei into the Baian-Kara-Ula mountains of China made an astonishing discovery in some caves that had apparently been occupied by some ancient culture. Buried in the dust of ages on the cave floor were hundreds of stone disks. Measuring about nine inches in diameter, each had a circle cut into the center and was etched with a spiral groove, making it look for all the world like some ancient phonograph record some 10,000 to 12,000 years old. The spiral groove, it turns out, is actually composed of tiny hieroglyphics that tell the incredible story of spaceships from some distant world that crash-landed in the mountains. The ships were piloted by people who called themselves the Dropa, and the remains of whose descendents, possibly, were found in the cave.

Early Earth Was Purple, Study Suggests

he earliest life on Earth might have been just as purple as it is green today, a scientist claims.

Ancient microbes might have used a molecule other than chlorophyll to harness the Sun’s rays, one that gave the organisms a violet hue.

Chlorophyll, the main photosynthetic pigment of plants, absorbs mainly blue and red wavelengths from the Sun and reflects green ones, and it is this reflected light that gives plants their leafy color. This fact puzzles some biologists because the sun transmits most of its energy in the green part of the visible spectrum.

“Why would chlorophyll have this dip in the area that has the most energy?” said Shil DasSarma, a microbial geneticist at the University of Maryland.

After all, evolution has tweaked the human eye to be most sensitive to green light (which is why images from night-vision goggles are tinted green). So why is photosynthesis not fine-tuned the same way?

Possible answer

DasSarma thinks it is because chlorophyll appeared after another light-sensitive molecule called retinal was already present on early Earth. Retinal, today found in the plum-colored membrane of a photosynthetic microbe called halobacteria, absorbs green light and reflects back red and violet light, the combination of which appears purple.

Primitive microbes that used retinal to harness the sun’s energy might have dominated early Earth, DasSarma said, thus tinting some of the first biological hotspots on the planet a distinctive purple color.

Being latecomers, microbes that used chlorophyll could not compete directly with those utilizing retinal, but they survived by evolving the ability to absorb the very wavelengths retinal did not use, DasSarma said.

“Chlorophyll was forced to make use of the blue and red light, since all the green light was absorbed by the purple membrane-containing organisms,” said William Sparks, an astronomer at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) in Maryland, who helped DasSarma develop his idea.

Chlorophyll more efficient

The researchers speculate that chlorophyll- and retinal-based organisms coexisted for a time. “You can imagine a situation where photosynthesis is going on just beneath a layer of purple membrane-containing organisms,” DasSarma told LiveScience.

But after a while, the researchers say, the balance tipped in favor of chlorophyll because it is more efficient than retinal.

“Chlorophyll may not sample the peak of the solar spectrum, but it makes better use of the light that it does absorb,” Sparks explained.

DasSarma admits his ideas are currently little more than speculation, but says they fit with other things scientists know about retinal and early Earth.

For example, retinal has a simpler structure than chlorophyll, and would have been easier to produce in the low-oxygen environment of early Earth, DasSarma said.

Also, the process for making retinal is very similar to that of a fatty acid, which many scientists think was one of the key-ingredients for the development of cells.

“Fatty acids were likely needed to form the membranes in the earliest cells,” DasSarma said.

Lastly, halobacteria, a microbe alive today that uses retinal, is not a bacterium at all. It belongs to a group of organisms called archaea, whose lineage stretches back to a time before Earth had an oxygen atmosphere.

Taken together, these different lines of evidence suggest retinal formed earlier than chlorophyll, DasSarma said.

The team presented its so-called “purple Earth” hypothesis earlier this year at the annual meeting of the American Astronomical Society (AAS), and it is also detailed in the latest issue of the magazine American Scientist. The team also plans to submit the work to a peer-reviewed science journal later this year.

Caution needed

David Des Marais, a geochemist at NASA’s Ames Research Center in California, calls the purple Earth hypothesis “interesting,” but cautions against making too much of one observation.

“I’m a little cautious about looking at who’s using which wavelengths of light and making conclusions about how things were like 3 or 4 billion years ago,” said Des Marais, who was not involved in the research.

Des Marais said an alternative explanation for why chlorophyll doesn’t absorb green light is that doing so might actually harm plants.

“That energy comes screaming in. It’s a two-edged sword,” Des Marais said in a telephone interview. “Yes, you get energy from it, but it’s like people getting 100 percent oxygen and getting poisoned. You can get too much of a good thing.”

Des Marais points to cyanobacteria, a photosynthesizing microbe with an ancient history, which lives just beneath the ocean surface in order to avoid the full brunt of the Sun.

“We see a lot of evidence of adaptation to get light levels down a bit,” Des Marais said. “I don’t know that there’s necessarily an evolutionary downside to not being at the peak of the solar spectrum.”

Implications for astrobiology

If future research validates the purple Earth hypothesis, it would have implications for scientists searching for life on distant worlds, the researchers say.

“We should make sure we don’t lock into ideas that are entirely centered on what we see on Earth,” said DasSarma’s colleague, Neil Reid, also of the STScI.

For example, one biomarker of special interest in astrobiology is the “red edge” produced by plants on Earth. Terrestrial vegetation absorbs most, but not all, of the red light in the visible spectrum. Many scientists have proposed using the small portion of reflected red light as an indicator of life on other planets.

“I think when most people think about remote sensing, they’re focused on chlorophyll-based life,” DasSarma said. “It may be that is the more prominent one, but if you happen to see a planet that is at this early stage of evolution, and you’re looking for chlorophyll, you might miss it because you’re looking at the wrong wavelength.”
