Skin.Graft Trunk Sale - Sat. May 19th

So......

Our plans to have a booth at Lightning in a Bottle featuring or brand new collection was thwarted by the Customs Officials at LAX :(

But!!!

We finally got our stuff out of customs and it is all now available for those of you interested.

Skin.Graft at Tribal Caravan and LIB

Just to give everyone a quick heads up that Skin.Graft will have its own booth at Tribal Caravan and Lightning in a Bottle this year.

As of now, these are the only events that we have scheduled to vend at.

We will have a limited stock of holsters, garters, leather jackets for men and women, canvas jackets, vests, crop vests, pants, mini-skirts, big ruffled skirts, feather tassles and more.

If you are super antsy to pick up some Skin.Graft BEFORE these events then contact us at contact@skingraftdesigns.com for an appointment at our studio or check our myspace to find a store near you.

Skin.Graft is Cleaning Up Shop

I'm in the midst of a major reorganizing of our Skin.Graft Studio down here on Glendale Blvd next to downtown.

And I am in the mood to clear this place out!

With the changing of the seasons, I feel like this place needs a change too. Consider it Fall Cleaning cause Spring CLeaning is so passe.

So everything in this studio right now is going to be 15% off for the next week or so. Everything from leather jackets and vests to skirts, shorts and pants. And of course, our holsters and garters. For both men and women.... it's all 15% off.... starting now.

Skin.Graft Fashion Show- June 9th!!!

so we've been pretty low profile about our not-so-low-profile massive fashion show next weekend.... until now!

We have been busting our balls more than ever before to bring our next fashion show to life. As some of you may have heard we got chosen to be the featured designers at this year's Pool Trade Show in Vegas. Well on June 9th we are throwing a big event with them at their beautiful corporate warehouse space in silverlake. It is going to be a very large event but it is a PRIVATE EVENT. You must RSVP to the invite we send you in order to get through the doors. It is a free event from 8pm to midnight with a number of full open bars and rockin' DJs (from our close circle of friends). We have artists and collaborators up the whazoo helping us create a beautiful evening!!! We have darrah danielle, Shrine, malakai and faux pas, members of Lucent Dossier, Mass Ensemble, Marisa Youlden jewelry and sooooo much more.

Whether it's our own booth or shared....

Skin.Graft will have parts of our brand new collection available at Lightning in a Bottle (www.lightninginabottle.org)

Our new stuff will literally be arriving here in the states the day before LIB begins so this will be the first time our stuff will be available to anyone. Plus, we're only bringing out a limited supply of gear including brand new holster bags, leather garter belts, leather/silk mini-skirts, full length bellydance skirts, canvas/leather vests, fitted shorts for the boys, and full leather jackets.... so make sure to check in with our booth early in the event if you are really inspired to purchase a piece.

Skin.Graft Spring/Summer '07 Collection Coming in May!

We are very excited to produce our very first collection this Spring and will be back from Bali at the end of April with a whole new artillery of evolved Skin.Graft designs. An entire new women's collection AND and an entire new men's collection too.

We're talking major evolution here. All new color pallettes, new materials and new designs. I have a photoshoot in Topanga tomorrow and am looking for a makeup artist who works with airbrushing and are looking to fill their portfolio... It will not be paid but you'll get some professional shots of your work out of it. If you are interested and can amke it tomorrow to Topanga, send me a message, my phone is off today. Actually, I probably need you even if you don't work with airbrushing...

Also, to all you designers out there with flamboyant outfits looking for a model to wear your creations, tomorrow would be great because we have a location, a really talented professional photographer and hopefully a good makeup artist too! You'll get some great shots for your portfolios.

Updated Website and Online Shiznit

So thank you to everyone who came out to the Trunk sale last week at our space. We sold out of almost everything we had, new and old, and now get to start out with a fresh clean slate. I'm feeling really really good about this.

We've just made some much needed updates to our website including an updated look, new photo galleries (including some shots from our runway show last month). Show please check out the updates and share any thoughts with me that you have about the new look.

Also.... we now have our Skin.Graft Leather Holster bags for sale on our website. You can find them in the purchase section on the site. Everytime we get another batch of these guys in they are gone in just a few days so check them out.

Up and Coming...

So we finally started a tribe to keep everyone up-to-date on our shows and events. We just finished up an amazing show called "Conception," at Space Island in LA which included everything from 4-legged stilt creatures with bellydancers dangling upside down from them to epic aerial experimentation and ceremonial fire expressions.

We're now working on our next show for July (somewhere around the 20th or 21st) that will run for two nights at Space Island.... keywords: water worship, aerial bondage, AMAZING costumes!!!! Keep in an ear open for more info in the coming weeks.

Also, a quick appearance at the Cirque du Soleil premeire party in Las Vegas at the end of june and some other shananegans in the next few weeks....
