Deleting the tribe-VOTE PLEASE

topic posted Wed, September 12, 2007 - 3:33 PM by
There hasn't been consistent activity in here in over 6 months. I guess I could turn this into a vanity tribe for me, but I'm not really into that.
Do you want me to keep it? Do you plan on posting more? Do you want access to what's here?
Thoughts? Bueller?

I haven't really done much on the tribe, but I like having it listed on my list o' tribes.

So I'd like you to keep it. :)

I agree with the other ladies. I love reading the posts, but I never post any myself. Keep it around :)

But that's my point. With you ladies so far, what you are saying is that you HAVE active thoughts and lives, but aren't sharing here. If there's no sharing, its just an archive, right?

Hm.. I guess I never really knew what bits of my life would be good to post here. Certain tribes kind of call for certain information, but I wasn't ever really sure what I could contribute to this one. Maybe a redefinition ..? I could come up with stuff, but I'm not sure if people are interested in hearing me talk :P

            Thanks,Belen. That's a good point.

Originally, I found that women were a bit trigger shy ot talk about what it was like to live their lives, as successful, functioning career women, who maybe tend towards off the beaten track. I wanted to create a space where they could share their experiences and opinions and research, and we could all share our own in turn. you and I both experience this through a local group, Called the Women of RWB, but I was looking with this tribe to reach out to women all over the country. Such as, women who switch all their cosmetics to organic and cruelty free. Or women who want to adopt. Or women who are struggling at their job, and why.

We've discussed magazines we like, feminism, charities, etc. But it hasn't taken off like I hoped it would, and now I'm not sure what to do. If anyone is using these topics for resources, then good. But overall, I doubt that is the case.

The original post when the tribe was founded:
              Hello, ladies!

I've been giving some thoughtful time to my noggin lately on why I hear from some _few_ women online about cultural questions.

I know lots of cool women. We talk about it over coffee, the phone, crafting, walking, hiking, and even hot tubbing.

So I wanted to create another space for us to keep rapping about things that we observe that is making an impact in our tomorrows. Cars, family, parents getting older, friends and the changes we see there, etc. You know?

It can seem like a handful! So feel free to share anything in particular~ I am very curious about how the Modern Woman fares among the seas of Life.

              Cheers!
              Promise

I don't post here, but then, I really don't post anywhere else either....I like being a part of the tribe because I like what it represents, but I am much more of a lurker than a key player. Keep it if you feel like it, but if you don't want to, I understand too.
