"Midwinter Maqsuum: The White Tour" will open at Kira's Oasis on January 13th at 8 PM.
Special musical guests, Il Troubadore, will join Snakes Rising to get the tour underway.
Admission is $10 at the door. Tickets will soon be available here for this and the other "White Tour" performances.
We are seeking dancers in the genre of "Raks Gothique" to join Snakes, Il Troubadore, Taletha and Zahara for this event.

Thu, September 7, 2006 - 7:38 AMRegarding "Kashmir", I second what Laura said. When I was in high school, we had one of those 'snow' days and no school. My cousin, who was driving then, took me to the local country store with him and there was so much snow around and he was driving this - I think - old (not so old back then) Cougar (early to mid 80's) and that song was playing on the radio at that momen. So everytime I hear that song, or that melody really, I am transported back to a snow day in Shelby County and riding in a cool car with a great sound system! -

Sat, September 23, 2006 - 6:04 AMAlso, very excited to overhear that Taletha will be teaching at Kira's as part of the White Tour weekend there. Her workshop is in Gothic Bellydance. And I think the focus will be "White Goth." But we'll let Kira and Taletha announce that as soon as the details are hammered out.
PLUS!!!!
Kira is hosting the "White Tour" as part of her "hot and cold" kick-off to the new year. The weekend will be a virtual tour of the planet. From the tropical islands on Friday evening (at her usual Hafla) to the Still, White, Canadian Hillsides on Saturday. It's like two mini vacations in one weekend... just when we need them most! Right after the wild holidays!!
Can hardly wait!

Sun, October 1, 2006 - 3:27 PMJust to clarify... admission is $10. With Paypal there is a processing fee. Advance ticketing may not be so important with this venue, due to it's size. But the other two venues are smaller. And there, advance reservations are recommended. (Tho not required.)
We will also sell advance registrations for only $10, at any event you come to see us at! That includes CWR, VOL, Medina....
