If you suffer from depression, read this:
For the past three months (94 days), I have been taking Omega - 3 fish old capsules; After having tried EVERY
SSRI as well as many mood-stablizers and anti-psychotics, I am finally starting to feel "normal". I take three grams
of Omega - 3 a day, along with a daily multi-vit, and vit. E and C, preferably with a meal...I have gone from actively
suicidal (thinking seriously about purchasing a fire-arm and a hotel suite), to looking forward to the future and
sometimes actually feeling "better". As we aren't always the best judge of ourselves, I have queried my immediate
family as to my change - bar none, they all agree that I am much less fatalistic about the future, and in general more
positive about life, career and relationships. I CANNOT RECOMMED STRONGLY ENOUGH the benefits of
Omega-3!!! I researched it a lot before I began, having read that less is not more, which is why I chose a median
dose of 3g/day. Less, and it probably won't work; more, and your body will be over-loaded, so my recommedation
for clinically depressed people, between 3 and 4 grams a day; my (non - depressed) mother is taking 1 gram a day
for general health...please let me if you've had success with Omega - 3...I buy mine at Trader Joe's and it costs 7.99
a bottle, which lasts two weeks - so, I spend about 16.00 a month which is totally worth it.
