Check the photos section of this tribe for a few shots taken at the fun happenings on A Street last Sat. night, Nov. 17, 2007.
GALLERIES & SHOPS
Most every gallery and shop were open late and offering fun and tasty treats. I was excited to find a back alley gallery and studio spaces plus a new vintage shop with a 50s rockabilly style called Skirt Chaser on the corner (more guys stuff pleeeze!).
Also, Barbara Elliott's studio was open which included her studio mate, Mary, and her resin paintings.

STREETWISE
Our good musical friend and tribemate, Amber Lee Baker, was busking too with her fiddler and a song or too with Miss Choklit singing backup.

In the 50s pin-up vein, Tibidabo Photography studio had a little window display with a lighting kit and a live model. She was all dolled up and many gawkers stood around while she struck all the cute pin-up poses for the flashing camera. See much better shots of people off the street in the studio at their blog page:

SECOND WIND
There was even a late night, somewhat frisky, impromptu tango explosion with some very sexy gals. Too bad all the sleepy people missed the even better second wind that ended at Russian River Brewery with the amazing Steve Pile live music and to drink the better of beers in town:

SURPRISE!
I was pleasantly surprised at how many people showed up! Let's hope it represents a rise in fun and arty folks in Santa Rosa and beyond. I look forward to the next big event. Perhaps more people will show up next time for all the fun... (Hint, Hint! :-)
