Choklit, Skye and I were able to stop by Chops Teen Center near Railroad Square in Santa Rosa on late Sunday afternoon, May 6th.
Spring set up a superb show of about 12 or so crafty artists who presented a wide variety of goodies in all shapes, sizes, and colors (and fabrics too of course).
I spotted Heidi McIverson who says she is set up in a new and better studio space. The new plushies are most desireable. She's got a show coming next at Maude's in Petaluma (after Phoebe Stewart Washer's show). See a somewhat recent piece here:

Meredith Hamilton was there with encaustic pieces and clothing.

William Smith and Tood Barricklow were selling wall art and plenty of affordable mugs and glasses.

Jacquie Smith was attending too with a growing selection of odd and interesting polaroid transfers.
There were many other artists present whom I didn't have time to meet showing their great work.
Keep a look out here at Sonoma ArtCast for more dates and venues for the crafty underground folks in our area.
