There has been much happening around Phoebe Washer artwork these days, including personal art site updates, a video shot by Matt Petty from S.F. Gate at the Phoenix Theater memorial, and an upcoming major complete retrospective art show in Los Angeles and Petaluma:

VIDEO REMEMBRANCE
Matt Petty, art director / blogger at S.F. Gate, created a touching video remembrance of Phoebe and her artwork during the standing-room-only memorial at the Phoenix Theater on May 25th, 2008. Interviews with key family and friends are featured, plus excerpts of the live music performances of Phoebe's friends Bill, Pete, & Ben and Baby Seal Club.

L.A. COMPLETE RETROSPECTIVE GALLERY SHOW
A complete retrospective of Phoebe's work, titled "How well do you remember?", opens in L.A.'s POVevolving Gallery on Sat., July 5, with a reception from 7-11 p.m. The show runs through July 30.

Many made it down I heard so news should trickle in on how it went.
I'll make it to the Petaluma show in September though.
