Yes, as always, whenever something happens that just blows my mind it always takes me a couple of days to be able to put into words just how amazing this event was!

I'm still speechless.........

This weekend, the first ever Tribal Rendezous was held in the beautiful mountain city of Idyllwild, CA. It was put on by my good friend and dance partner, Rachael Gollub. Everything--workshops, vending, performances---took place at the most charming B & B with the nicest proprietors you could ever ask for!

If you were there, no words are needed.....I'm sure you had a unique & special experience that weekend, as well.

But for me, my real life experience exceeded my dreams of what I was anticipating for a couple of months now! My beautiful dance partner, Rachael Gollub, and I had thee most distinct honor to be able to dance with the creator of ATS: Carolena Nericcio.

Carolena was teaching 3 workshops but she was coming to the event by herself so she asked us if we would like to dance with her (she asked us!?!??). Believe me, there was noooo way I was going to let Rachael not experience this at her own event. You see, she thought that she would be out of her mind busy and then try to perform as well!?!? Well, I talked her into dancing that nite and one of thee most precious moments for me was during Carolena's solo. We were standing next to eachother, in the background, doing a slow taxeem and Rachael turns her face to look at me and I looked at her and then we just smiled at eachother.....as if to say "this is so unbelievable and i'm sooo glad we get to share this together!!!"

It was exhilarating, electric, and big bunches of fun!!!! I can't wait to do it again!!!

And my baby girl, Rachael, I am so proud of you! Tribal Rendezous was perfect! And I'm so lucky to be able to dance with you! Love you sweetie!
