I've seen and played several of them. A couple of my students bought them (because I suggested it) and I'm SO damn jealous whenever they bring them over. I already have one of the earlier ones of his so if I got a newer one, it would be like buying a second pair of designer shoes just because I wanted another color. Can't justify it, but I may anyway. ;-)

But, yeah, the latest ones have been of exceedingly superior quality and are quite stunning.

I'm thinking of getting one. I was also thinking of getting one of H R's drums which are quite nice but soooooo expensive. Also Souhail's are sombati size which I like. How much are Souhail's drums?

Scott, please check out the pictures "I GOT IT". I have been waiting to buy Souhail drum for years and always something came up. I have take several classes from him and he is a great teacher, he was in Wichita, KS a couple of weeks ago and I brought his drum, It is a great drum and I had him personally sign it so it makes it that much more special. It is a professional drum and sounds different than my Turkish or Alexanderia drums. Even thought it is a bigger drum it really took me a couple of days to get use to it, I try to practice with my other drums and use Souhail drum when I play in public........but i cant I love this drum too much and now instead of practicing maybe twice a week I have been practicing 4 or 5 times a week at the least.
