Hi all,
I just want to throw out the idea of me running a brief workshop on ropes and how to use them to decorate your lover. I think I need help from the organizers to find a discrete location for this - don't want to scare the natives. But if there is interest, maybe we can make this work. It would be BYOR - bring your own rope. Please message me here or off line to give me feedback ideas suggestions, etc. The intended vibe is aesthetic not sexual...within limts of course.
Failing the human macrame thing, maybe I'll do something on useful camping knots...

Thu, June 18, 2009 - 9:34 AMsounds like fun... I've got left over rope from a left over relationship that I can bring. Is that like baggage? or just a good recycle? I take it you do all the good safety stuff, like scissors, safe words, etc... or is this more adhoc/take care of thyself?

Yes this is the real deal. I'll cover all the basics, and then we can have some fun.
Bring EMT shears, and I'll talk about protocol - but not so that everyone's ears bleed.
Shears are not necessary as I'll have some, but can be had at walgreens for about $5.
As for rope: a couple of 30 to 50 foot lengths would be ideal

What time works - please RSVP
Thu, June 18, 2009 - 6:41 PMIt will probably take about 1 to 2 hours, more if we are having fun. It will be informal.
We can start at 6PM on Sat, but this will run into dinner perhaps. Or we could aim for a little later like 7'ish and try to eat beforehand.
What do people prefer?

If you have any rope bring two 30-50 footers and one or two pieces that are about 7 to 10 feet long.
