Where they provided by Soulstance or Lupin? My camp mates and I (and others) were high on the hill. The nearest port-o-pottie was far below. Can we get more for next year. Hate to go behind (or in front) of a tree.

Wed, June 24, 2009 - 10:42 AMOne thing we have always done at BM we did at Lupin as well.
Bring a urinal or some reasonable facsimile and make sure the women can use it as well. We have a very small porta-pottie that we don't put chemicals in and only use for pee.
Having to find the potties in the middle of the night SUCKS!

Re: Port-o-Potties
Wed, June 24, 2009 - 4:35 PMAs I recall there has been a camp at the Playa named Piss Pot or something like it. They gifted Topperware like containers and stickers. You took it with you to your tent to pee at night and then could emptied at the Port-o-Potties in the morning.
XOXO

Re: Port-o-Potties
Wed, June 24, 2009 - 10:39 PMWe have this very cool setup we got at the camping store. It is a toilet seat with a lid that snaps on the top of any average 5 gallon bucket. It cost all of $12 and SO WORTH IT. Line the bucket with double biodegradable bags, snap the toilet seat on and voila! Instant super cheap, totally portable and useful toilet. We've had it for years and it has stood the test of time as well. -
