Well Met,
Aiyanna and I discussed doing some more activities in the Idaho Falls area while we were at Pagans Night Out today. Both of us so much enjoy teaching and learning that we discussed open classes, workshops, and gatherings a bit more than usual.
We were thinking on holding a few open classes on Paganism (in general) at the Library here within the next few weeks/months. First we have to finish talking over the subject matter(s) and layout a format, then of course marketing the event. We do a lot of online chatting and discussion, but would like to start 'in person' meetings as well. Speaking of on-line chats, we also are thinking on a monthly or bi-monthly open chat at our website. We have hosted some before there, but were mostly on-line meetings of the members of the KOS and the chat page isn't accessable to everyone, but we will change that if we decide to run new chats there. Also, none of us has really used our fourm on the site, and I even opened up a few topics for the Idaho Pagans to assemble there, so we need to start posting there, it can be for ongoing chat topics and discussions for everyone rather than the large amount of email that I process, although many of that is from friends, students and mentors from various other places.
Seeing how traveling has quickly become expensive for us, we really want to focus more on our local pagans here in south east Idaho. By no means does that mean that we will no longer communicate or be active in the other fourms, groups and organizations that we are involved with, but we do want to continue to build and network here on a more local base. The few local pagans that we have met in the last 2 years have been all looking for the same thing; teachers/mentors, information and experiance, group gatherings/events/rituals, and a sense of community, here in this area. Together we can do that!
Many Journeys, and Safe Returns Friends

With all the new growth this years past, and the rapid growth in the last two months, the Knights PodCast! has been running out of bandwidth every month about a week before our bandwidth revolving date. That is great, in a way, and hard on us in another. Due to certain aspects in our operating budget, ie... a new grandson, a grandfather in the hospital, school costs and bills over this winter, we are having a hard time on providing the bandwidth needed to keep the podcast updated and available to our listeners without interruption.
Although our podcast is free, and hope to always will be, as many of the Knights of the Stone services are, we do rely on donations from time to time to keep our online network in operation. This is true for many organizations, and most of them rely on their members to support the functions of the organization. Our membership began in the Mid-South region, and has slowly spread across the US. Our growing pains have ushered in many new and wonderful things as a whole, but has streched us pretty thin, in budget mainly, and with our varied locations of our memberships, we do not come together physically as much as we one had. But our online presence, and our network that we have built, has grown vastly.
We do care so much for our podcast audience, and our online friends and activities, and at this time do ask the one simple favor of donations. (Our podcast expansion only costs us $10 US a month, and total operations are at $35 US monthly now.) Our podcast does have advertisements on it, and we do run an intro advert once for free, but very few actually pay our contract terms for multiple adverts on air (which are way below many other podcast terms) and we try not to run more than 5 adverts per podcast as to keep the podcast as free from commercial affairs as possible and focus on events announcements and entertainment. We also network with many other pagan organizations and run free adverts for them as part of our online networking, and they in turn have links or introductions for us for free. The upside to that is the growth of our podcast base audience, and the downside is the bandwidth demand due to the growth.
There is a donation button on the Knights PodCast! page, and it is verified to our Paypal account. Any amount helps keep thing going, and growing. Or, you can use our feedback form to request more information on donations, advertisement placements, or anything else that you or your organization can do to help and even link to or be placed with our listings. Also, don't forget to check out the Knights Shoppe, our Knights products are our largest source of potential income for our events hosting, and our affiliation with our friends at The Magick Moon is more than a business relationship, we have known the owners of it for many years before the store came into being! And on a last note, membership is always free! and with your help, our podcast subscription and most services will remain free as well!
May your journeys bring you all that you seek!
