A Middle Eastern music and bellydance jam! All drummers, dancers and musicians are welcome to participate. Ishtar and Melissa Murphey will guide you through playing popular Belly Dance songs of the Middle East. Open floor dancing all night, all levels of dancers welcome. This is a community event designed to bring together dancers and musicians inspired by Middle Eastern music. Experienced or inexperienced: all are welcome!

Jalsah is an open jam/dance event.

* Dance floor is open ALL NIGHT. Bring your hipscarves and a friend. All levels of dancers welcome. Try out those new moves!
* All instruments welcome! Drums, guitars, clarinets, flutes, violins, trumpets, saxes, if you play it bring it!
* We will provide sheet music to borrow in the keys of: C, Bb, Eb, F and Bass Clef.
* Don't forget to bring: instrument/microphone cables, sheet music stand, etc.
