hello to all of you out there in the KOI region! i have been so lucky to have been a part of strengthening the burning community in southern ohio, but the time is come for me to step aside as a primary event coordinator and Souther Ohio Co Regional Contact. on august 7 i welcomed my son miles, our newest baby burner! at this point i feel i need to be focused on my personal like while my husband and i nurture our new family and prepare to move to florida this winter. i hope to stay highly involved in the local and national events, and i strongly hope that i will be able to reprise my role as a RC at some point in the future. it has been an amazing learning experience that has helped me grow in my burning and default life. i have meet incredible people and had challenging and rewarding experiences at scorched nuts and octohburn, and i cant wait to see these events evolve and grow through the coming years.
soon the burning man regional committee will begin looking for someone else to join ol'bill, randy, april and karine in organizing our region. if you are interested in applying to be the new co-southern ohio regional contact, look out for the announcement coming from bex about how and when to apply.
