So, it sounds like there are several of us that are flying in on the 4th of December, Zan and myself included.
We can't actually get on-site at Recreation Plantation in Dripping Springs until noon on Friday.
So, Let's use this Thread to coordinate rides, places to stay prior to Spherecamp, and other resources for anyone who needs help with these things!

Mon, November 17, 2008 - 3:39 PMSo one idea Jennifaerie mentioned was for those of us there early, ie on the 4th of December, to rent a cabin together at McKinney Falls State Park (the old location). Anyyone who is into this idea let us know.
Personally Zan and I are looking for a ride from the Airport. Our flight arrives at AUS at 8:18.
We are also looking to explore all of our options for a place to stay, prior to Spherecamp Austin 2008. Does anyone know of a place to couch surf?

Mon, November 17, 2008 - 7:17 PMalas, i do not have any specific couch surfing locations ready atm...however...check out www.couchsurfing.com if you havent already...they would almost for sure help a spinner out. :) So looking forward to seeing you out there...and super excited you get to make it. For people needing rides on friday...I will be driving through austin on my way to dripping springs. With the right ammount of planning i would be happy to grab, 1 or 2 people from the airport and some thier luggage. I would try for more...much i dont think we would be able to cram it all into my car. msg me for my ph# and we can work something out. :)

I'll have to wait for my checked bag, so if the flight's on time, I figure that I'll probably be ready to escape the airport at noon. If there's anyone out there that can give me a life to Recreation Plantation, please let me know!
