My name is Dan. Tends to be yearly get togethers for the most part. I currently reside in houston. And have a few people who i teach on occasion. I will be moving up to dallas in the near future and would love to get some interest in it up there. Besides SphereCamp TX which is held in December. We have booths at the Texas RenFest in the fall located near houston in Plantersville/Magnolia. As well as one at Scarburough Fair up in Waxahachie near Dallas. If you give a better idea on where you are located i would be happy to try to locate a local sphere player for you to meet up with.

i just started playing with spheres in october because my boyfriend is really into contact juggling. he had mentioned going to the spherecamp in south texas a few times so i decided to go with him and it was amazing! there were people from all over the place that came and they were all so nice. everyone is willing to teach you their tricks and help you with things your learning. we went there for the contact juggling but while i was there i played with poi, contact staff, and devil sticks for the first time. and they have workshops throughout the day so you can get with groups and do exactly what you want to do.. a little advice.. if you do decide to go to south texas for the next camp.. i would bring a bunch of warm stuff. it got cold this past year camping. :/
