Here's what happened: The Dance Center where we held space on Mondays is officially closed. We were very surprised to find out a few mondays ago to show up only to find that the power had been shut off to the room, the mirrors had been removed, and there was a cardboard sign that said the dance center had been closed permenatly. No one communicated to us that this was going to happen so it was a big surprise for us....so far all we know is nothing and have not been refunded for january or feburary. Anyone have suggestions for new space?

Wed, January 16, 2008 - 8:55 AMi have spoken with olivia and she has given us the refund for jan and feb, so we did get that back.
we have money to put towards a new space somewhere, it's just finding that space and it working with our schedules again. a meeting is a good idea, when is good for everyone? we are not sure what the new landlords are going to do with the space, nor are they going to have any of our info to get ahold of us anyway. maybe the paper will tell us in the future. so for now we are in limbo.
but again, as a collective, we have some $ to do something
