The Art of Fire
Age: Teen/Adult
Instructor: Bridget Knight, Spinergy Arts
Mondays: 6-7pm
Optional free Drop In: 7-8pm
October 22nd - December 17th
$77/10 sessions/1hr
This class is designed to teach its' students to, "play with fire," without getting burned. The course focuses on basic staff/poi movements and fire safety. Additional topics include fire arts history, incorporating movement/ dance and an overview of miscellaneous fire tools including fingers, fans , palms, hoops and wands. Students will be provided with non-flammable practice equipment as part of the course cost. Fire is not used during this class for safety and liability reasons.
