Hey folks. MCP is coming in to town (amazing international contact staff teacher) on April 12-13. I am trying to setup a one day 9-5 teaching thing, that could be wicked cheap for attendees, but only if we can find a space for free. Does anyone in Boston know if their school could host this? I have checked with the place we get the BU space from, but they are full. They recommend checking with FitRec or Case Gym for a reservation which I can follow up on now. But are there other options if this falls through?

Alright, BU has officially recognized the Spinning Arts Club. I'm on spring break until next Monday but as soon as everything resumes I'll have us a practice room. A friend of mine runs a business with his father selling other businesses' overstock. He's always got large quantities of random stuff coming through, so I've got him on the lookout for anything that might be useful for making spinning toys. I'm still pretty new at this, so can anyone give me ideas about what kinds of supplies I should be looking for? Other than the most obvious dowels, tennis balls, rope, etc.? No guarantees, but you never know what might come along that I'll be able to get BU to buy a whole pile of!

Stay tuned for more cool occurances.

I have here the paperwork for starting a new student group, all warm and fresh from the IT lab printer. Anybody with a valid BU ID number should sign it, as 10-15 signatures are necessary for approval.
