I have this idea. It’s a vision really, a dream...something I see, when I look inside... something that moves me. And maybe, this something speaks as well in your heart. Maybe it’s your dream too. Maybe we’re dreaming it together, and now I’m writing it down.

The idea-- the vision-- is this: That there is this place inside each human being that is the source of limitless happiness. Connecting with it invokes an awareness about all the feelings in the world, all the pleasures, all the pains & sadnesses-- that none of these sensations could ever possibly be bigger than this Happiness. There is this quiet voice in this dream, that gently whispers to me, that this Happiness without bounds is the ultimate reality, and that trusting and knowing this on every level of my being, all the way down to each and every cell of my body-- this is my inevitable destiny, and the inevitable destiny of every living thing in the entire universe. This vision is one where we have-- you and I-- caused our minds through vigorous practice to become so powerful, that we can and do always remember to wake ourselves up to this ultimate reality, this limitless joy. We cast off whatever nightmares, distractions, or stories we might have set up, or allowed in, knowingly, unknowingly, that pose as real. We may even find ourselves at a place where we deeply realize that no person, drug, possession, or amount of money can give us the the kind of feeling we get, dwelling in the Ultimate Consciousness. That no person, drug, possession or amount of money can deliver to us the real, and far reaching power that comes from abiding in this Ultimate Consciousness. We know it for what it is, by the miracles and benefits that flow through and unfold, blossoming into our lives. In the core of our being we feel such appreciation and profound love for even the simplest thing, like the miraculous breath of our lives, that rises and falls in our lungs, or the miracle of music and dance that manifests in the world all around us, right now, in this moment.

Looking at anything that has ever seemed to hold us back -- even if it has seemed hard at some time to feel the happiness within-- perhaps we begin to see that the obstacle is not so great at all, not so very real... and that perhaps it is the simple result of forgetting where and when and how true happiness abides in our lives right now, as it always has, and that we have the power to cause it to manifest from what may even appear to be nothing, even as we think, speak, and act.

And so, we find ourselves patient, kind, and forgiving with ourselves, as we remember our happiness. And we find ourselves patient, kind, and forgiving with those around us, as we remember our happiness. We are so surprised that as we let go of the ways of pain we lived by, and move forward just a little, and speak of this light just a little, perhaps saying “I have arrived. In the here and in the now. I am home,” we find that here and now, we are on this journey, together, waking up. The pathway becomes abundant with flowers of radiant color, and wish-fulfilling gems of every kind.

As we each become aware of this very precious life-moment, and this one, and this one, do we see endless, incomprehensible streams of miraculous, wonderful mystery that is our life.

In the vision, my great desire-- perhaps it is yours too-- is that we feel waves of happiness washing through our bodies, coming from inside. Coming from the heart like the light of the sun, that shines eternally from the place where it has always lived. We always feel it in moments just like this one when we at once remember! The light lives and shines in our hearts, in the center of our unique and precious being, always and unconditionally, and that it was only the temporary and fragile veil of forgetting that had covered it up from time to time in the past. Remembering now, how easily it falls away, and the illusion of darkness is dispelled!

Perhaps we also remember that this happiness doesn’t live in any imagined future, nor in the memories of fleeting experiences that once we might have enjoyed. We remember that our true happiness, and the ultimate reality of our being, is that we are the source, generating all possibility for what we experience, including the possibility of experiencing this fundamental happiness residing within us right now. Right now, in this moment that we share together.

As we remember and become aware of our true power to access this ultimate high, this fundamental, healing, loving happiness, in each and every precious life-moment, we awaken to ourselves, understanding that it doesn’t reside anywhere outside of us at all... not in any person, drug, possession, or amount of money. We awaken to the true nature, of our ULTIMATE SELVES, and come into our birthright, our true and limitless power to cause beauty, happiness, abundance, balance, true compassion, and harmony into the very depths of our lives, and into space and time throughout the entire universe. This awakening floods three-thousand realms of existence with light and immeasurable blessings in this single life-moment. In just such an instant you and I awaken in this way, the Cosmos awakens too. Immediately we together begin, in this moment, to manifest limitless peace and boundless joy in the environment directly around us, beginning with each cell of our bodies, and this happiness and peace emmanates outward in waves to touch the ground you gently walk upon, each tree you pass, the people around you as you sit or walk or drive... In this moment, you and I, have arrived. We are home. In the ultimate, we dwell!
