Yoohoo!!
I'm getting excited about our upcoming Gath...
I'm totally remembering our idea about making masks, and sticking them on poles in a circle around the fire circle and then doing ritual inside the mask circle.
I had an idea ~ wouldn't it be cool if we could whip them out again at Lammas? That would be a nice bridging of energy between the gatherings (not to mention the great PR value for our Spirit Gath ~ ohh ~ a corporate mention ~ aahhhh!!).
I'm wondering if we want to go to Ax-Man and look for poles, or is that silly, seeing as there will be wood and branches galore on the land??
Here is an inspirational link with recipe that I found:
www.papiermache.co.uk/tutoria...he-mask/
It looks to be a several day project.
I'm so excited about this ~ it's the same feeling I get when I think of Junque Jewelry Days! When is the Decoupage Gathering ever going to happen?!?
In glittery glue-filled gaiety,
mwa!

Re: Yeah baby! Chewed Paper!
Thu, June 4, 2009 - 9:26 PMWA,
I remember someone saying something about getting bamboo poles that would be strong and light?
MIracle was just talking about paper mache, so check with him.
Tallgrass and his posse are heading up on Tuesday, so FSG 2009 is getting bigger, longer (and uncut)
