The amount of duty over rides compassion and understanding and is directly proportionate to demise of mankind. There is no love in duty nor duty in love. You are right about the nine to five trouble though. Most people sleep about 8 hours a day it takes one hour to awake shower shave eat etc thats 9 hrs one hour to commute to work thats ten hours one nhour to reaturn home from work is eleven hour s an hour for dinner 12 hours an hour during the day for a break is 12 hours that leaves about ten or twelve hours left and most peole work 8 to 10 hours a day doing what someone else wants them to do all day leaving only 2 to 4 hours to come up with a positive solution to a negative situation of a friend and loved one let alone the guy up the street or probelms in another country and then they say I am busy talk to me when I get to the weekend or over there. That means they are chasing passions and desires and things they think they need and eventually become morally and spiritually bankrupt and even lose the sacred obligation of hospitality. There are those who are dong what they want to do, what they love and are content with what trhey have as aresult and are simple people. They rae the ones who usually end up rich not just in the material world but in other riches more precious than gold.
