stinky alfalfa

why oh why must my favorite sprout be the bane of my efforts? Just when I think things are going well, the whole thing turns and ends up smelling like a dirty sock.

Could it be I have a bad batch of seeds? I never used to have a problem sprouting beautiful alfalfa sprouts.

    it may be because of the temperature in the room, if it is warm they do not like it....
    they tend to mold....
    There also needs to be air moving... a fan would do it...
