with Gwyn
~Reconnecting to Your Foundation As a Dancer~
Gwyn offers this strengthening drill portion of the workshop as a way for you to gain new perspective on making the most of your personal practice and how to take proper care of your body while you develop your dance safely and thoroughly.
You will receive:
-A printout of movements and combos learned in class
-A cd with the music used in class.. a great companion to your 'at home' practice!

Flowered and Flawless
~Hair & Makeup lesson/tips for the Tribal Fusion Belly Dancer~
Stephanie Fields leads you through one of her favorite rituals of Tribal Fusion Belly Dance: preparing the hair and makeup for the stage.
Topics to be covered include:
• Brief history of makeup
• Kohl: the history of and how to apply
• Guided application of hafla performance-ready makeup
• Guided hafla performance-ready hairstyle - proper for both curly & straight hair (class will vote on updo or down)
• Makeup application tips for dancing under bright lights (stage)
• Makeup application tips for dancing under natural to dark lighting (haflas, restaurants)
• Spin and stay in: learn how to put every flower, feather & braid in your hair and keep it there (even during your whippiest of pencil turns)
Please bring:
• Extra bobby pins & hair clips
• Extra hair & make-up add-ons (glitter, jewels, feathers, flowers, etc...)
• Fake eye-lashes (if available)
• Foundation & mascara (If you're a newbie to makeup, I'm happy to recommend brands - both the budget & pricey versions)
• Lighted mirror (if available)
• Make-up brushes (if available)
• Personal makeup
Available to use:
• A wide array of blushes and eye shadows (varying brands) to try
• Bindis, glitter, jewels, stencils
• Bobby pins
• Curling iron & flat iron
• Hairspray!!!!
• Kohl (imitation)
• Make-up wipes & baby wipes (for more sensitive skin)
For you to take home:
• One set of flowers
• Bindi
• Printed handouts on everything we cover
• Small set of basic make-up applicators, including sponges
The Day/Time/Place:
-Sat April 18th.
-1:00-4:00

*Please arrive by 12:30 for registration.
Cost/Payment:
-Early registraion cost.. $50 before April 3rd. ...After April 3rd, the cost is $65

-If you would like to pay with your credit card or PayPal account, please email stephanie.e.fields@gmail.com & she'll get you set up
-If you are a student already you are welcome to bring your workshop payment of check or cash to class with you.
*You have the option to take only one portion of the class... either just the technique class with Gwyn or just the Hair and Makeup class with Stephanie. The cost of taking only one class is $35. There is no early registration cost for this option. We ask that you please only be present during the portion of the class you pay for.
