If a little area of the forest was calling your name, you can bring comfy couches, banners, and make your own little light ship. Say your a DJ and really think you have some music that would brighten up that area, so you respectfully ask the little area, go get your equipment, and get everyone groovin'! We'll have plenty of power if you wish to bring your extension cords, funky lightscapes, trippy electronics, and enchanted soundscapes. <br/> <br/>As you walk upon Expression, you will notice people sequentially in their creative element, digging into their individual realms of ideas and collectively sharing. <br/>Together we will create. <br/> <br/> <br/>Expression is 2.5 acres on the wonderful Seymour Arm of Shuswap Lake. Nestled on the Seymour River, the area provides fresh water, much sunlight, swimming, and enchanting greenary. A floor of twinflowers and a maze of pathways leads to unsuspecting breathtaking areas. Kendrick, born in 1977 in York in the north of England, moving to the south east in 1984, when his parents took over the Eight Bells pub in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. It was here that Jodey discovered (through boredom and watching too many videos), MUSIC. His Dad was a big Dirty Harry fan see, and the music in these films by Lalo Schiffrin contained dirty jazz and funk with almighty break beats. When Jodey heard this he knew that music was for him. A few years later with his friend Gary, he bought a crappy compilation cassette which contained the track "Humanoid" by acid band "Stakker", and once again music fever took hold. Soon Jodey started tinkering on his C64 computer making basic tracks, then progressing onto an Amiga 500. Quite a while after, he started making music on a Roland MC505 and a crappy Boss SP202, which is still used to this day! Soon analogue fever followed with the purchase of a Sequential Circuits Pro1, a Borg TB303, a Roland SH09, a Roland TR606, a Roland TR707 and a Roland TR626 (the last two are digital but circuit bent!!). Other digital gear used is a Nordlead 2, a Casio CZ3000 and an MFB Sythlite 2. Software used is Logic, MAXMSP and Supercollider, (the last being one of the best software programs ever - but a bastard to learn!). +10 is about having fun with all of the above equipment in an aciddy style. Whilst some people think acid is hard and abrasive, +10 thinks it is warm and prickly.................LIKE GETTING DRAGGED DOWN THE ROAD BY A MOTORBIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!
