Really...how can he be for the people when he's a part of the system?

I ask you, people of Tribe, how Steve23 can be mayor when he truly does not represent the needs of the people? The wants? The desires? Too long have we fought under the established creatures of San Francisco. Too long have our people been oppressed under the Heel of Hedonism! Too long have we seen the Mayoral Office squandered and wasted!

We do not threaten! But we have heard that Steve23 kicks puppies and pushes grandmothers down stairs! Do we REALLY want a puppy-kicking grandmother-pushing mayor? I say NAY!

NAY TO PUPPYKICKERS!
It is time for a change.

I'm anti-puppy-kicking, and I vote.

Steve23 is running for mayor of Black Rock City 2008! We'll be using this tribe as place to join Steve's supporters together, gather ideas, and generally keep our virtual campaign headquarters. Please post your suggestions, questions and comments. Steve will be happy to entertain all of them. This is a campaign for a mayor for the people of Black Rock City.

The campaign is in full swing - Steve is working on his platform, and polishing his speaking skills. We even have buttons! If you didn't get one at Decom, be sure to hit Steve up for one the next time you see him. But, don't worry - we'll be out there all year! Working for the Man. :-)

Me and steve23 are getting married!!! OK... so, we kindof already did get married, in Hawaii, with our parents and siblings there to witness the whole beautiful thing. It was lovely. Really. There are some pics up on my profile... Check 'em out.

But now... We're going to have the BIG wedding at the BIG event happening in the desert in just a few days... er, daze.

On Wednesday, August 29th, round about 5pm at Crude Awakening (the amazing collaborative piece that will be the biggest thing this playa has ever seen) we will all join together for a big ol' celebration, Burning Man style!

Hope to see you all there! And don't forget to wear ALL WHITE. This will be A Refined Affair at Crude Awakening, after all.

Handsome, talented, intelligent, sweet as they come, tender hearted, caring, tougher than he thinks, a genius with a rope and most of all, in love with his perfect match in every way.

Teaching Bikram Yoga!

Can you believe it? It's before 6am, and Steve23 is bouncing around the yoga studio, getting ready to teach his first class of 2007!

And, it's a regular gig! That's right. Steve23 will be teaching at Mission Yoga every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 6:15am. This will continue until further notice.

So... Come get your 23 fix, and get your yoga done at the same time. Trust me - class this early is the best! You're still asleep while you do your yoga, and you'll know that you've done more for yourself by 8am than most people will do in a week! And, of course, you feel like a million bucks all day long. Then, you can come take my class the next day. :-) Check out www.missionyoga.com for our full schedule.

I most certainly should not forget to mention that Mr. 23 is wearing some very cute, tight, short-shorts. Sexy!

Ok... this is just odd. Steve23 (and Juicy) are renting out a room in my place while I am working on film titles for a New Line Cinema film called "The Number 23"... starring Jim Carrey. It's all about the mysterious coincidences surrounding the number 23. Look for it soon.

Life is Goooood... That's 5 o's which is 23 for those of you who aren' totally own with the 23 trip. It's everywhere. :-)

We are happy, and BUSY with the yoga lifestyle. Which isn't to say we aren't still up on the rest of our life, but most of it is dormant, unfortunately. 23 is still rocking my world, and the worlds of all of the yogis we are hanging with in our absense from our usually scheduled lives....

For those who are still interested, however, we *will* be resuming our usually scheduled lives at Decom next Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! Until then, we are doing yoga, studying anatomy (not like that you dirty birds!) and generally being very good. If you ask nicely, we promise to be bad next weekend...

Do you promise to ask nicely? I hope so!

Much Juicy Love and xoxoxoxoxo!!!

You heard right. The Passage (you, know the massive steel mother and child you saw on the playa in 05) will be installed at SF's Pier 14 on June 16th! It's big news for all of us, and Steve's working hard to help make it happen. Whacking, welding, whatever it takes...

Come check out the pieces while they are being readied for their SF debut. Currently, the mom is freestanding (!) outside the American Steel Building at 20th and Mandela Parkway in Oakland. She'll be on her back again soon, tho, for more plastic surgery. :-)

I'm going out there tomorrow, and probably most of the rest of the week to do my part. So, come on down! Beer and wine donations are always much appreciated!

It's been months since I've checked email and even longer since I've been on tribe, but Juicy's just the gal to break me outta my digital hermitage. Many thanks go to the lovely Miss Juicy for her kindness and initiative in starting this tribe.

Here's a great quote from the SoLA team about what an amazing job Steve did working to get their 2005 piece installed. It was a rad piece, and it could not have been executed without Steve's hardwork, patience and, well, sweat. He looks great running the trencher, too. But don't take my word for it:

"We bow our heads in respect. Steve23 and his apprentice Chris were fundamental in the installation of SoLA. Panther had warned us ahead of time that the trencher was not designed to dig trenches in the tight circles we required. Some amazing determination and muscle power in one backbreaking afternoon proved that where there is a will there is a way. If there is a DPW hall of fame, Steve23 should be inducted."

The Flaming Lotus Girls also reported back that Steve was among the "kind, hardworking, funny and enthusiastic" DPW team they had the pleasure to work with. They didn't say "hot" but you know they were thinking it, right??
