Sorry I'm so late with this. But tribe is really hard for me to access these days! I can hardly ever get logged on and once I do, it sits, and spins, and sits, and spins....
So here's some notes on Tribal Rev. (Finally!!)
It was a great time. How could it not be with all the fab instructors they offered this year. Unfortunately I was by my self, so I wasn't able to take any of the workshops. HOWEVER, I was in the vendor room right across from the doors and was able to watch a few of the workshops since they left the doors open a couple of times. For certain I saw Amy Sigil's workshop (YAY!). High energy and very cool. (And happily there was a beautiful male dancer right in front of the door who was awesome and delicious eye candy). Both the Friday night show and the Saturday night show were amazing. All the performers looked so good. (UNMATA rocks my world!!!) I got to meet lots of lovely tribers as always and this time the location (Holiday Inn - Elk Grove Village) was excellent and very easy to get to (from St. Louis anyways...) The staff was incredibly welcoming and very accommodating to us.
Audrey and Christina deserve mad props for this event. And it just keeps getting better. If you haven't been, the 2009 festival should be at the top of your list.
