Hi everyone!
Just wanted to give some information since there are questions about the videos.
I got some of the participants, but not all. My camera can only hold one hour of footage at a time. Unfortunately, I didn't get everyone, or I only got small snippets -- enough to create a snapshot. In other cases, I did not get permission or did not know who to ask for permission.
I saw others filming the dances so perhaps they can upload and share.
If it is alright with the ladies and gentleman here, what I can do is upload the videos I have over the next few days. If you see yourself, let me know if it is ok to post or if you want me to remove the video. Also let me know the name you want to use on the video.
Sorry about the expectations but I didn't know the extent of the program until I arrived that night. It was my hope to get everyone but my version of technology just isn't up to that yet. No promises. This is only me shooting as a hobby and for fun.
I hope this doesn't diminish your experience with Asharah or Tribal Journeys any less. If so, well I'll take responsibility for that and a wet noodle toss.

Re: tribal journeys 2: vids and photos
Mon, June 29, 2009 - 10:15 AMNo diminishing on my account. I had no expectations. I heard the word "video" and said "ooh!"
If it were a big deal to me, I'd have found things out ahead of time… and possibly own my own camera… :P

Mon, June 29, 2009 - 11:08 AMGood. I'm very happy you had a wonderful time Duck. So did I. And like I said, there might just be a video of Saturday's performance.
Here are the other videos. Most are untitled, cut off in strange places, or I just plain ran out of room.

Re: tribal journeys 2: vids and photos
Tue, June 30, 2009 - 7:19 PMYou're very welcome Megan! I remembered you asked me at the workshop and I said no only because I thought there wasn't enough footage to do your exquisite performance justification. I'm glad that you like it.
