"Bubbles" (mom) and I spent 3 hours on the drive home discussing our likes and dislikes and al that "decompressing" stuff you do on the way home.

And we agreed on everything, even with our own different approaches and perspectives. The things we liked were everything related to dancing – the workshops, the community, the people, the show… the things we disliked *sigh* traffic, air conditioners, people talking through performances at the show…

The whole thing was a phenomenal experience. Exactly what I need where I'm at with dancing, and exactly what she needed to pull her back in and remember why she started in the first place. (my plan worked)

I'd love to give a shout out to those who made the experience so fantabulomazing (yes, I'm inventing a word), but there's far too many to name, and I'd probably leave someone off and spell someone wrong… just assume if you were there, you were amazing. ;P And even if you weren't there, you're amazing too. :P

Sakinah – thanks for putting the whole thing together and putting up with all of our stupid "we're from out of town" questions. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to perform, especially with the caliber of other dancers performing. Thank the entirety of Tribe Ayaka for making us feel welcome and extending a feeling of belonging.

Video? Video? I'd love to see mine… I'd love to buy a copy if that's even an option. It's a milestone for me, and I'm crazy about that kind of thing. :)
