in support

I am in support of torturing all of the suspected and alleged until they confess and give up the information we need, if it will save lives, that's a no brainer.

My big question is, is we torturing the right or the wrong people?

That is a no brainer because it will not save lives but produce false confessions.

eric -- have you ever considered that one day you may be 'suspected' of something. would it be right to torture you based on someone's suspicions? torture... cruelty of any kind, is not the answer.

A police state is the ONLY way we can regain control of the central government and thereafter help our Arab allies destroy Israel, which is the root of all evil.

I don't think you actually understand the the ramifications that a police state imposes on it's people. This is the real evil; no liberty, freedom and new legislation which makes speking up about ones own opinion a crime and punishable. We should look at the examples set by the failed attempts and suffering such facism has caused in china, the former soviet union, gerrmany and so on.

You really need to realise that once such policies take charge that the constitution is made void, you will be a prisoner in your own country. Without freedom to go where you please without the correct papers, most probably with forced curfew, mandatory detention if you are caught saying or associating with the "wrong" peoples, detention for reading forbidden text or publication, and the list goes on.

We need to also realise that such events and momentum toward such facist regime is in sway at this very moment and each moment we are silent and idle, is a moment of violation of human rights. We are not machines for the government and aristocratic society to use as pawns.

You are forgetting that the police and military work for the central government and aristocratic few of high corporate power. A police state would only suffuse to eradicate the freedoms of peoples the world over. You should understand that the people in power that operate central government are supporting isreal. That they have supported both sides in one way or another in every conflict ever. Police state and facism is little more than the forced control of peoples liberties, so that imperialist rule can dominate.
