When we realise that God owns everything we will share with our neighbors. But if we think in terms of I and mine we will selfishly look after our own country, or our own species, or our own race. When we become vegetarians a great cloud of ignorance will be lifted. People of all religions can cooperate together because we all are serving God under different names, or different concepts, but it is all the same God. And beyond all this the ultimate goal is to become free altogether from the endless cycle of birth, death, old age and disease, samsara, that we as spirit souls identifying with the temporary material body are trapped in. Most of the souls are already with God in the spiritual world. It is the minority who are still here on Earth trying to enjoy separately from Him and extending our own concepts of bodily relationships to other people or parties in order to enjoy.

  • Most of the leaders are religious if even superficialy. I believe that it is necessary to moreso engender the idea of responsbility and accountability. Nothing any of the governments want to do. If as people we did the same and chose roles that reflected our own compassion and love in which such detrimental foreign policy and violence

Superficial religion, what is the value. Even the most aboriginal tribes have it, at least some concetion of a higher life source. Five hundred years ago the native Americans had their religion. Were they the owners of the land? They felt it was to be used by all. Then the white man came and "owned" the land. This concept was foreign to the Native Americans. When they allowed the white men to use the land in Manhattan they didn't understand they would never get it back. Later, when they wanted to use it for their tribes, the white men called them "Indian givers". So now we might think we are the owners of the land. But when we are long dead and forgotten God will still be the proprietor. He is the actual owner.
Bush enters Iraq and holds muslims in jail. The muslims are fighting in the name of religion. Bush is fighting for what he thinks is right, he is a professed Christian. Other professed Christians shudder at the thought that Bush calls himself that. Muhammad Ali tries to tell the Muslim terrorists what his realisations are about Islam, how noone should force it upon others. All these different idealogies are in conflict. But if we recognise God as the Supreme Father and we are all his sons and daughters, what right do we have to kill animals? If I am in a house and a new child is born do I have the right to kill my father's child because he is weak? What if he is retarded? Would my father be happy if I killed the less intelligent child? Or does he require just as much protection.
Animals are members of this country and so require our protection just as much as people do, if possible. There is no need to eat them by killing them. If we want to eat their carcusses then wait until they die first. Peoples in other countries that are draught stricken or poorer also should be fed to our best ability. Regardless of what we can get back from them either in trade or in the form of oil or natural resources. Why do we always need to come out on top?
There is genocide going on in Africa. If people are educated that we are all brothers and sisters in the eyes of God and actually see things that way then the genocide will stop. Otherwise it will simply be a society of dog eat dog, animal society.
