Let's Tell A Story!public - created 11/04/05 |

Storytelling is humanity's oldest form of literacy. Storytelling is the art of portraying in words, images, and sounds what has happened in real or imagined events.
This unique tribe has been created as an outlet for our storytelling nature. We are creating stories together. One person starts and we all contribute!
Storytelling Rules:
#1 BE CREATIVE: have fun with this and by all means let your imagination run wild!
#2 When you start a new story make the subject line of your post the title of the story.
#3 Limit each post you make to 4 paragraphs or under (that way everyone has a chance to play).
#4 Each story will be limited to 100 postings. When we get to the 100th post in a thread, that story ends. (all stories of course have their own pace, some may end of their own volition before 100 postings)
#5 Please try to keep your posts no more graphic than PG-13; we'd like to keep this "above the belt" if at all possible. We would like the majority of these stories to be "family friendly". (if you have questions about what this means please message the moderator privately)
#6 We understand that not everyone can write within the PG-13 restriction. If you would like to make a more adult themed story you may do so, but you have to include either an R or NC17 rating in the subject line next to the title of your story. We would like to make it clear to readers the level of depravity in the tales we tell.
#7 When you first join this tribe you may post an introduction (of any length) and a personal story (that no one else may add to) so that we may get to know you and your writing style. This is not mandatory, but if you do so, please put "Introduction" in the subject line before the actual subject of your post.
#8 You may make posts that are not stories if:
a. They are about stories (books, short stories, live-storytelling... any form)
b. They are about story telling events
c. You clearly express in the subject that the post is a non-story and it meets requirements a or b
***When the stories are completed they will be compiled and displayed on the moderators domain in a section specially made for this tribe!
*** Multiple stories can be told at the same time, in fact it is encouraged!
