Emancipatory Constructionism Think Tank

public - created 04/17/06
The purpose of The Institute for Emancipatory Constructionism™, and this online think tank, is to develop a postmodern critical theory which synthesizes classical critical social theory, including Marxism, with William of Ockham's nominalism (such as divine command theory) and various postmodernist approaches, including the poststructuralism of Michel Foucault and Jacques Derrida. If you are interested in this project, please join the "tribe" and contribute to the dialogue.

Here is some more detailed information:

As framed by the institute's Structurization Paradigm™, a species of social constructionism, structurizations (names) are, seen through a tiered relativism™, contingent on divine or human wills (sola voluntas), are accepted via dominance, utility, or both, and can, by asserting power, be deconstructed (denamed). The paradigm, in its basics, selectively combines two predominantly nominalist-cum-particularist categories:

1. the Via Moderna of William of Ockham, Robert Holkot, Gregory of Rimini, Gabriel Biel, Pierre d'Ailly, Martin Luther, and others
2. postmodernism, as from Michel Foucault, Jacques Derrida, Richard Rorty, Friedrich Nietzsche, Ludwig Wittgenstein, and Aleister Crowley
