Want a nice room at the Sugar Shack?

The room next to mine is now free. It's one of my favorite rooms at Sugar Shack -- 14' ceilings with a great sturdy loft, awesome painted walls and easy in/out access to garden and street.

Single rooms at Sugar are really reasonable, probably less than you're paying to share that boxy two bedroom in westfumbuck. We include utilities and some food in those monthly community $, and we live as an intentional community where your initiative has a real voice and opportunity to reach out to a large community in the heart of Los Angeles.

This is not an opportunity for the fainthearted. We look for talented artists and activists from many different fields to help us fill out our home. Our stage, dance and visual arts spaces are available to you 24/7; Sugar Shack is a tremendous launching pad for the right artist who needs a place to work and focus in on creative potential. We ask that you be responsible, willing to live by consensus, true to your word and actively participating in making our community a better place to be.
