Moving out of city,.... SOON! Thu, September 18, 2008 - 1:49 AM
I'm heading NORTH, out of Phoenix, about 150 miles, to a 40 acre site soon.
The nearest town is just about 16 miles away!
There, I am the "point-man" for the site/acreage security.
I'll have to haul water in, have solar and wind for power already, and a place to live.
Trailers are being moved, in a few days.
With lots of room for the rest of the group, which consists of about 11-12 people so far.
There are already 2 buildings on the site, and more to come, very quickly.
It will be somewhat "primitive" but so much more....
Everyone is self-reliant, but the group protects it's own also!
All have near everything required to stay in the wilderness for up to and beyond a full year.
Every member hast to past "muster", in other words, they NEED to have a full compliment of food, and supplies, so as NOT to need to beg/borrow/steal, from others.
This is NOT some strange "mental" bunch of survivalists.
These are people from all walks of life and most have needed skills, to maintain a complete and secure place to live in peace and harmony.
WE are NOT a commune !!!
Everyone has their own land, and has to provide their own shelters/building/home, and garden.
Each has responsibilities to the group as well.
Now, I am in the cuurent 'search MODE', for a single lady to join me there, ASAP!
Many of the group's people, including myself , have invested heavily into this site and survivalism.
We have nearly everything, and adding daily.
Chickens, rabbits and some other animals are going to be raised there as well.
Personally, I will have 2-3 buildings alone.
1) living quarters, a 2 bedroom mobile home....(12 x 60)
2) storage building, another mobile home...(12 x 60)
3) a shop may or may not be of steel or wood...(? )
We are curently installing septic, systems, and water cisterns, as well as rain water collection units.
Sound interesting?
Contact Billy,.... asap!

Re: Moving NORTH, from Phoenix,.... SOON!
Thu, September 18, 2008 - 2:00 AMThere will also be propane appiances, not so primitive after all!
Propane appliances:
Stove, heater, refrigerator, and water heater.
There's also an abundance of well seasoned dead wood and I have a new cast iron stove/heater unit as well.
There are a LOT of solar powered equipment and generators too.
Even the day to day lighting is solar ,and backed up by battery power.
Wind generators are being purchased in bulk quantity, so as to keep pricing, lowest as can be had.
Around $450. each and we plan on at least 4 units per household.
I am also in the process of getting additional solar panels to compliment the ones I already own, and remain packed, unused to this day.
