Fri, March 28, 2008 - 4:27 PMReally what will you be teaching? I was supposed to go with my now ex-boyfriend and I guess going seems weirdly connected to him but I am going anyway. I'm actually very excited. -

Re: Mid-Atlantic Primitive Skills
Fri, March 28, 2008 - 5:15 PMI am teaching Primitive food preservation and bees wax candles. I will also be in charge of the fire. As I said before I have gone the past 4 years. This year my wife and son will be coming for the first time. The past 2 years my daughter has joined me for the weekend. Kaya went last year, but I will let her tell you about that. The owner of this tribe: tribes.tribe.net/backyardg...rvivalists will be teaching Hispanic Herbalism and is a good friend of mine. You may also like his groups. Check them out. I would not worry about the connection with the ex you will make your own memories and friends. Like any group there are clicks but you will be welcomed warmly and learn much and be on system overload. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask. -

Fri, March 28, 2008 - 5:50 PMThanks so much, I don't think He'll be going so there's no chance I will run into him. The bees wax candle class is one I want to take I raise bee's so that really appealed to me. also the primitive food preservation looked really good to me I do lots of canning every summer. -

Sun, April 13, 2008 - 2:15 PMCybele,
Wish I was going just so I could meet ya! Alas, stuck in MA, or I'd be there with bells on. You will love every second. I've been to many gatherings of all types, and this is an irreplaceable and amazing group and experience.
Lots of love, and learn enough for both of us! Don't miss Doc's herbal classes (The walk and intro were especially valuable). Trapping was *meh*, but everything else I went to was awesome!
:-)
xoxo

Re: Mid-Atlantic Primitive Skills
Thu, July 17, 2008 - 1:14 AMI'm one of the founding members and one of the instructors. Just not the past two years. Been on the otherside of the world. LOL!
Am planning on being back for the next meet next year, hopefully.
