i just found out about this awesome hooping retreat/workshop thats coming up at the end of june, and i thought i'd throw it out there and see if anyone would want to come with me! it sounds like a blast!

The retreat will be in late June (26-29) in Carrboro, North Carolina. It's basically a 4 day weekend of hoop events, classes, and hoop-based socialization. It's tremendous fun, and during the classes Baxter really pushes us (hooping blindfolded with your hands tied together?). It's also just soooo incredible to meet hoopers from around the country and to socialize with people who don't think you're weird for playing with a giant Hula Hoop. <<


and if enough people want to, i'd be down for organizing a hoop making party where we can all get together and make hula hoops for the trip. let me know!
