I just wanted to take a moment to urge everyone who's ever shown any interest in this group to attend our anniversary. I'm for serious. Why? Because it's both more swing and more goth than we ever have been, AND it's @ DNA Lounge, and I've done every thing that I can to make sure that this going to be an event to remember.

Lee Presson (www.youtube.com/watch is a phenomenal performer, and we're really blessed to have such an extraordinary band based out of the Bay Area (and playing our anniversary). Likewise, The Deephearted (www.youtube.com/watch is a fledgling goth band with phenomenal promise. This is your chance to say you saw (and maybe even swing danced to) them when...

Then there's the burlesque, I've selected some of my favorite dancers in the Bay Area. Everyone I asked has said yes and is on the bill (aside from one who's currently under doctors orders not to perform, but will be there in support). We have a post-apocalypse belly dance to kick off the event at 7:50, and an performance that's going to need 5 people just to clean up afterward to end of the night.

This is going to be fun!!

Bring a date, bring friends, come alone. It doesn't matter. Heck, if you don't believe me, watch the event at home on DNA Lounge's webcast until you can't help but join us.

Don't forget, lessons start promptly at 8pm. (And why on earth would you run the risk of missing the burlesque before the lessons?)
