Frankie manning passed away today. In the middle of National Dance week. He was arguably the founder of Lindy Hop. He was still traveling the country teaching the dance a few months before he passed. The world has lost an innovator. Let his week long wake continue in every dance we do.

Those who know me know I don't really like the footwork for the Lindy Hop, but I do like the moves from it and many of the florishes, and everything else that I do love so very very much couldn't exist without what he did. I morn his passing.
