Fri, October 16, 2009 - 10:26 AM23 arrests? That's nearly as oppressive as Burning Man. That is such a sweet venue, and it saddens me to think that a unpermitted party is the only way we can gather without problems.
End the drug war. These people were probably hurting nobody, will suffer expense and jail time defending themselves, and it serves no useful purpose. -

Fri, October 16, 2009 - 3:52 PMi like the warning about how a few out of control people can wreck it for everyone. i don't think that was the issue at all. i didn't see any "out of control" drug what not at all, but i do remember hearing on monday about how feds were blocking exits and busting people as they left. big mike you hit the nail on the head! end the drug war!
but at least those federal piggies had some fun trapping some harmless hippies *rolls eyes then shakes fist* -

I went by the medical tent at symbiosis and they said there were zero overdoses over the weekend. That means
that everyone that was using something was using it responsibly. Everyone there was very co operative and very mellow.
I never knew that loving each other and dancing in the woods far from anyone was such a threat to our society.
There will likely be 3 initiatives to legalize cannabis on the next ballot. Vote to end prohibition and this "war on drugs".

i certainly saw a ton of freeloaders trying to piece together wrist band scraps to sneak in. if you love it, support it! an event of this caliber of awesomeness doesn't just happen, and if money is lost, the next one can be jeopardized.

Yesterday, 4:35 PMThe camp next to us had freeloaders. We overheard them talking about how they couldn't go see Les Claypool because they were checking for wristbands.
